I mean, if I had a cock, this programme would make me want to slam it in the door.

LOL at 'dull thud'

Social worker one is Claire in the Community. I like Sally Philips so I cut that one some slack.

oh god there have been some bad ones haven't there?
Clare in the community is the social worker one

don't get me started on Quote Unquote

Clare in the Community was the social worker one, I think? That's been going for quite a while - isn't it Sally Phillips?

I heard the arms dealer one the other day - utter rubbish. Bleak Expectations (?) also awful.

God, not very encouraging, is it?!

Nooo! Milton Jones is fabulous! I love that programme!

Bleak expectations is a bit like one long in joke that has gotten out of control.

I hate CAS too. When I first heard a snatch of it I thought I was on R7 listening to some ancient unfunny comedy from 1970.

That snatch was enough for me to slam my hypothetical cock in door too.

I quite like Claire in the Community, but it never makes me laugh. I just seem to catch it in the car. I think perhaps I just like her voice, and her.

Ah all these Instance lovers. You know, there is a TV adaptation vague might happen might not plan. Is apparently being adapted by an extremely lovely, handsome and clever person. Thought you'd like to know that.

we listened to Armando Whatsit's Charm Offensive the other night

that was fab but then I love Dara O'Briain and David Mitchell, and they were in it. I'd listen to them talking about anything tbh.

Threadwworm · 05/09/2008 12:54

Agree Cap. That was very funny.

Dara and David....

Report
Cappuccino · 05/09/2008 12:56

it is easier to imagine that Dara does not have a head like a potato when he is on the radio

much sexier

I've stopped knowing what's on R4 in the evenings, if I listen it's usually only during the day. I don't EVER listen to the afternoon plays though. I might take that up. I need some kind of listing magazine to tell me what's on I think.

Cappuccino · 05/09/2008 12:57

plus David Mitchell is making me twitchy on the TV cos he has obv lost lots of weight but is still wearing the same shapeless purple shirt for every tv appearance

he needs Goking imo

Threadwworm · 05/09/2008 12:58

THough David Mitchell's voice is as pleasantly nerdy as his face.

It's sad that the far sexier Webb is completely unfunny on panel shows.

[turns off Radio 4, lines up for Swede's somewhat unusual stall]

Yes, it was Capp. I was teasing. I meant to but got distracted by this kinky market trader.

Oh, but David Mitchell is far sexier than Robert Webb!

There's no hope for me anyhow - I am starting to find Frankie Boyle attractive, fgs...
