Thanks to witchmountain for the last thread and to dadx3 for Godfathering them! Also to any other posters whose ideas I have borrowed for the title.

Yes, witchmountain, that's exactly what I thought about the blue jacket!

I want Charlie back too. I reckon he and Ian (not Adam) would be good together.

I can't imagine what Ian sees in Adam - they've never sounded right as a couple to me.

TheEfficientBaxter · 18/11/2018 13:27

Sorry, MikeUniformMike, but ??? Confused

MikeUniformMike · 18/11/2018 13:48

Lynda to me is very much a Lynda not a Linda.
Lily is a pretty name but Lilly isn't somehow.
It matters to me because of how I visualise them. Neale, Shoola, Jonny, Thom, Edd, Kirstie, Jo, Gill, Kris, Tobey, Jenni, Bryan, Cate and the other characters can go whistle. Ruairi is misspelt in the thread title.

TheEfficientBaxter · 18/11/2018 14:10

Ooooh yes, I see. I'm quite intrigued now you've mentioned it!

Got me thinking now about everyone I know, and if the spelling of their name suits them Smile

Cromercrab · 18/11/2018 14:21

I just deleted FB ppeat. It's very easy. Sheryl Sandberg is all over the press again this weekend for another evil thing that FB has done. Free yourself.

ppeatfruit · 18/11/2018 16:04

Justin's not exactly emotionally intelligent is he? Lucky Lilian Hmm and lucky whoever fills her vacancy Hmm

Oh dear Mike I apologise for the incorrect spelling of Brian's boy love child . But looking at your name spellings it reminds me that I own a cookbook ,written in the early 9os by JD's actress and she, or the publishers, spell Lynda Snell's name with an 'i' not a 'y'.

Thanks Cromer how is it done?

I clean the kitchen very slowly while the film is on efficientbaxter. Then I don't feel guilty for essentially listening to the radio for 2 hours (DID afterwards if it's good). My fridge is sparkling Grin

Honestly the idea that Elizabeth runs a conference venue with just two members of staff is absurd. Don't they have rooms too? The no cleaner, not telling anyone that Geraldine quit is idiotic.

And I hope hateful Hannah gets found out. I like Neil and he doesn't deserve to have a duplicitous shitbag working for him.

Tom, on the other hand, can take his ugly blue jacket and never have sex again.

ppeatfruit · 18/11/2018 16:38

Poor Tom , no way is he on Hannah's level of unpleasantness , he just thinks with his trouser department like most men.

I thought Helen seemed happier and more lighthearted than she's been since forever at least since before the Rxx debacle.

OrchidInTheSun · 18/11/2018 17:03

No Tom isn't as vile as Hannah but I find it very hard to believe that a woman like Natasha would be interested in a nearly 40 YO man who lives in a rented house with flatmates and has had everything handed to him on a plate. Not much of a catch is he?

witchmountain · 18/11/2018 17:54

I thought that about Helen too, ppeat.

TheEfficientBaxter · 18/11/2018 18:14

But, Orchid, it's Sunday morning!

Why on earth should you feel guilty about sitting down for two hours (or 75 minutes if DID isn't that good) with your eyes closed and a cat on your lap like I do ?

I can push it even further, because I like ISIHAC too! Smile

TheEfficientBaxter · 18/11/2018 18:32

That's quite a sweeping generalisation about men, ppeatfruit!! Smile

I'm sure they are in the minority these days. The men I know are intelligent, sensitive, and unfailingly kind. Ranging from twenty-something to sixty odd.

Not criticising you at all, just speaking from my own experience SmileGrin

ChampooPapi · 18/11/2018 19:56

@DerRosenkavelier Do we think Charlie will return when Adam and Ian finally get the baby they wish for?

ChampooPapi · 18/11/2018 20:01

For me it's all about archers followed by the moth radio on 4 extra

ChampooPapi · 18/11/2018 20:05

And I'm sorry but I still think Tom is somehow worse then Hannah. He just seems devoid of colour. He also kind of embarrasses me when I listen to his scenes, as if i'm actually with him!

echt · 18/11/2018 20:16

I like the bit where Elizabeth expressed concern that Lily's tutor might be concerned about her being way. Its not Oxbridge!! Lily would be lucky to see a tutor every week, and then be one of many.

Russ was predictably whiny and showing signs of the controlling side so many said would manifest itself.

TheEfficientBaxter · 18/11/2018 20:20

Lots of people in denial tonight.

Does Elizabeth actually believe what she's saying about Geraldine?

I think Lily has the situation pretty well weighed up - but she's obviously got problems of her own.....

ADarkandStormyKnight · 18/11/2018 20:21

A mention of Lewis!

MikeUniformMike · 18/11/2018 20:22

I'm just pedantic. Lynda used the pseudonym Dylan Nells - an acronym of her name.
Lily darling, kick that twat cocklodger into oblivion.

MikeUniformMike · 18/11/2018 20:28

I probably misspelt Baspofald's name too.
Tom has no redeeming features. Hannah is horrible.
I hope Helen finds a bit of happiness with Lovely Lee.

ADarkandStormyKnight · 18/11/2018 20:35

Poor Lily. She knows she's made a massive mistake.

TheEfficientBaxter · 18/11/2018 20:39

I'm something of a pedant, too, MikeUniformMike, where spelling and grammar are concerned.

Doesn't make me awfully popular on certain other MN threads!

Don't care though! 😛😛

TheEfficientBaxter · 18/11/2018 20:45

Don't hate me, MikeUniformMike, but Dylan Nells is not an acronym. It's an anagram, surely!
