Thanks to witchmountain for the last thread and to dadx3 for Godfathering them! Also to any other posters whose ideas I have borrowed for the title.

cleanse not cleans

Toyota Pious DDD!

It was quite a few threads ago when DDD outed himself as a Christian (I remember it because it was in my defence that he did it, I was very grateful for an ally) and I don't think it was mentioned since. Turns out you've been harbouring suspicions of him as a holy car driver! Grin

Or it could just be a typo, but that's too boring.

InkySplatter · 16/11/2018 21:08

Agreed Baxter shine worn off, style cramped, believe the bit about coming to amnridge to tap Elizabeth up for some loot. Probably aware of what she's missing out on but still too stubborn to admit it. Looks like she'll be needed at LL anyway, can't have the Ambridge wimins escaping. They've already let Phoebe slip through the net.

Eastpoint · 16/11/2018 21:16

Skoda or SEAT? DDD. If it’s one of those (but I’m not saying which) you might, if you really are a male actuary, be my brother Shock.

TheEfficientBaxter · 16/11/2018 21:26

if you really are a male actuary Shock

Bit cheeky! Grin

Fink · 16/11/2018 21:31

if you really are a male actuary

Do we think it's the sort of thing someone is likely to make up as a fantasy online life?!

DadDadDad · 16/11/2018 21:39

Did no-one see my recent thread? I even put a photo up of my certificate showing I am a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.

Stilll no-one has guessed ma voiture...

TheEfficientBaxter · 16/11/2018 22:07

Ooooh! Is it French?

TheEfficientBaxter · 16/11/2018 22:10

Do we have to get the make and model, or will just the make suffice?

DadDadDad · 16/11/2018 22:14

Ooh, there’s no fooling you, Baxter

AngelinaNeurosurgeon · 16/11/2018 22:15

Lily had better not give up uni to manage LL Angry

DadDadDad · 16/11/2018 22:16

I’ll tell you it’s a Peugeot, and you should be able to get model.

Anyway, how is Lizzie organising a ball with no manager and no alcohol licence?

R4 · 16/11/2018 22:21

I'm confused by it being petrol. Diesels are usually the most economical. Is it thrifty because it's cheap to buy and you don't do that many miles so running costs aren't so crucial.

LillianGish · 16/11/2018 22:33

Do we think it's the sort of thing someone is likely to make up as a fantasy online This has made me laugh so much.

InkySplatter · 16/11/2018 22:33

I was imagining more of a gap yah to escape rank Russ and save LL.

I very much doubt Elizabeth is running anything at all. She's avoiding Oliver and her mother and not doing any housework. She's busy having a nervous breakdown.

TheEfficientBaxter · 16/11/2018 22:34

Well, DDD, I'm very familiar with Peugeot cars! I've had:

106 x 2
107 x 1
1007 x 1
306 x 2
206 x 3
207 x 2

Is yours any of those?

LillianGish · 16/11/2018 22:36

I’ll tell you it’s a Peugeot, and you should be able to get model. how exactly? Are there some undeclared car salesmen on this thread? I haven’t got a clue.

LillianGish · 16/11/2018 22:37

Baxter that looks like a series of sums which will probably be right up DDD’s street.

LillianGish · 16/11/2018 22:40

I’m just trying to get my score up for the next thread analysis (I’d fallen to mid-table by being on holiday for two weeks during the last thread and by following on this iPad which has a rubbish keyboard and so discourages me from posting).

DadDadDad · 16/11/2018 22:40

This car thing has got a bit out of hand. By thrifty, i just meant something small and economical. As I said it was zero tax, that should narrow it down. It’s one of these.

TheEfficientBaxter · 16/11/2018 22:41

LillianGish - That's precisely what I thought!

That's why I did it Grin

TheEfficientBaxter · 16/11/2018 22:43

Yay! It's a 107!

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 16/11/2018 22:47

Lily reminds me of a very posh and Pollyanna-ish flatmate I once had. She was exceptionally irritating after a while.

I, too, am wondering about Russ...

LillianGish · 16/11/2018 22:47

Lily had better not give up uni to manage LL I think that’s exactly what she’s going to do.

LillianGish · 16/11/2018 22:48

We still don’t know what course she’s doing do we?
