No, that's not a jokey exaggeration, this is really the 93rd thread in a series started by PseudoBadger five years ago! In fact, post number 90,000 in the "official" count will be made on this thread.

Lovers of The Archers welcome (along with the rest of us who have a more complicated relationship with the "TA" ).

One rule we try to stick to: No mentioning of future episode plotlines published in the Radio Times etc. However, once an episode has aired, say what you like!

What is going to happen to Freddie? And are we ever going to hear from Lily again?
I also am wondering what it will take for Kenton to apologise to Fallon...

MereDint - how awful for you, what a dreadful shock to lose two pets.

Kenton behaved really badly and I have a new respect for Alistair - wonder if Shula will feel the same?

Did Ellis threaten Freddie's family and home if he told? Or did I imagine that? Perhaps there will be a fire and Harrison will run in and save the day and they will all be friends again - maybe.

Ellis was behind the brick through the window at the houseshare, that got Johnny so angry, not least because Freddie tried to pass it off as random yobs. Hence the froideur on Johnny's part for some time.

@Minimammoth They were 16 and 12. Both in good health.

I’m sorry for your losses Mere. I like Mininmoth’s suggestion that DDD should be known as Threadfather.

I thought Kenton was quite true to character, he is almost always headstrong, his lack of understanding of Freddie’s crime & the awkward position Harrison was placed in are typical. He’s a thoughtless oaf.

I can't really remember who knows what about Freddie and don't really care either. I don't think Kenton's aware of the full extent of it, but then neither are the police. Jill will have conniptions when it all comes out.

@EBearhug I think the police have suspected Ellis for sometime, they just haven't been able to pin anything on him (is he more intelligent than Freddie?). He was stopped at the college gates when they swooped there. And he was questioned after Freddie was arrested.
Admittedly the drugs swoop at college wasn't very realistic, its never happened like that at any college I know - we don't have the police resources. Even when told where a dealer will be every day. They do swoop on Farms and large stockpiles, but every day dealing...

They questioned Ellis - but they don't seem to have really asked Freddie if he knows Ellis Smith/Jones/Brown/whatever his surname is. I don't think it would take a very skilled interrogator to get more info out of Freddie if they asked him the right questions.

Father Thread I actually think you should consider a name change in honour of your well-deserved promotion.

Lilian - the same thought flitted through my brain. But I feel attached to my current name (despite it being a bit unimaginative).

In fact, I did a search and the oldest post of mine that I could find on MN is from 2011 (in fact, I see it was at 11:11pm on 10/11/11 , which is numerologically a little disappointing) - so I feel the name is firmly attached to me, at least as far as threads like this go.
