Archers

No, that's not a jokey exaggeration, this is really the 93rd thread in a series started by PseudoBadger five years ago! In fact, post number Star 90,000 Star in the "official" count will be made on this thread.

Archers

Lovers of The Archers welcome (along with the rest of us who have a more complicated relationship with the "TA" Smile).

One rule we try to stick to: No mentioning of future episode plotlines published in the Radio Times etc. However, once an episode has aired, say what you like!

Archers

What is going to happen to Freddie? And are we ever going to hear from Lily again?
I also am wondering what it will take for Kenton to apologise to Fallon...

Milker, not miler!

DadDadDad · 18/10/2018 18:38

Thatv reminds me. I hear a milkman earned £50,000 yesterday. Wink

Really don’t like what the continuity announcer just said.

glamorousgrandmother · 18/10/2018 19:13

What did he say?

MrsGrindah · 18/10/2018 19:17

Was David always so mean?

Eastie77 · 18/10/2018 19:18

Why does David treat his son so badly? He seems to actively dislike him. I don't get it.

LassWiADelicateAir · 18/10/2018 19:25

It seems sneaky but we don't know if he was only motivated by self interest or was looking for mutual benefits. Johnny wanted experience and is getting what he wants out of the arrangement so its not entirely one sided

It sounded to me entirely motivated by self-interest. Johnny will be taught what he needs to know by his grandparents, possibly even his aunt. He really doesn't need Josh to teach him.

TigerDrankAllTheWaterInTheTap · 18/10/2018 19:28

Poor hens. Sad

Volant · 18/10/2018 19:35

It would be good if David would do a bit of comparing and contrasting. Child 1, generally regarded by David as a feckless, selfish type, forgets to shut up livestock, puts his hands up to it immediately, is genuinely sorry and does his best to make amends. Child 2, generally regarded as an all-round genius and saint, shuts up livestock insecurely risking the spread of serious disease and major expense, and keeps her mouth firmly closed.

But I’m not holding my breath waiting for David or Ruth to think about that one.

ADarkandStormyKnight · 18/10/2018 20:52

That was traumatic. I've lost hens to a fox and its horrible.

DadDadDad · 18/10/2018 21:01

@Mootsie called it at 19:43 last night:

What's the betting Josh forgets to shut the hens up.
