And there’s some rubbish about an ex-stripper policeman?

Best bit was Lizzie telling Shula she can't cope with any more. And we all know there is Russ and exam results to come

Totally. The kind of thing where my Year 8s say 'Dramatic irony, Miss." While the older ones go: der, der, derrrrrrrrrr!!

R4 · 13/08/2018 08:21

I want to give a Boop Point for the Hen Do. For parties and the like, we normally get excruciating scenes where three people in a studio try to pretend they are having a wild time but it mainly consist of lines like "

ppeatfruit · 13/08/2018 08:50

Yes witchmountain I thought that Lizzie not even telling her sister, to whom she is close, why she got so livid with Liliy, showed how much her expectations have been shattered , due to her thinking that at least Lily could be relied upon. Poor Lizzie Sad

Llamas are mean spitty type creatures, if you'd nicked one it'd have kicked up a terrible racket. Yes what went wrong with the continuity? I'll give the SW's the benefit of the doubt... [kind emojji!!] Maybe Robin's gone and Lynda and Robert are grabbing some time way.

ppeatfruit · 13/08/2018 08:51

away !

TigerTeatimes · 13/08/2018 09:06

Nail on the head there R4 Smile

D0do · 13/08/2018 09:42

Robin said last week he was leaving well before his ex-wife turned up at the weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if we heard more from him, though, as it was all a bit anticlimactic.

NotdeadyetBOING · 13/08/2018 16:54

I thought last night's episode was immensely dull. Llama comedy never really does it for me.

And I agree with the PP who asked about the whereabouts of Dr Locke; I thought he was supposed to be the epicentre of some unsuitable rekindling of village passion. I suppose now we've got FB Senior they're spoilt for choice.

And - at the risk of being boring - agree MEGA BOOP for Kate reality check episode. Glorious.

Gruach · 13/08/2018 17:03

I wouldn’t object to the llama drama if I could discern some point to it - but I really couldn’t.

ADarkandStormyKnight · 13/08/2018 17:15

I’m anticipating a Snell sniff of epic proportions.

bluerunningshoes · 13/08/2018 17:17

...if it's not linda's llama but a stray stud...

Gruach · 13/08/2018 18:11

Aaah! Interesting ...

They were very quick to assume it was Lynda’s. But then, that’s the natural assumption.

Mootsie · 13/08/2018 20:45

Toby seems to be on some sort of paternity leave. How can he afford it when Rex has to drive taxis, work for Adam and rear his pigs to make ends meet?

ADarkandStormyKnight · 13/08/2018 20:55

Toby works at the Bull so lots of evenings and weekends I would think.

TigerTeatimes · 13/08/2018 21:54

Controversial opinion claxon

Gah I actually just can't stand Pip. Can't actually stand her. Hrrrrrmph.

Small boop for Toby recognising that HRH could also reschedule, seeing as everybody else had.

echt · 13/08/2018 22:04

Agree about Toby. I always wonder the money's coming from in TA. And the strawberry pickers. And the time for the rota of childcare for Will. Oh hang on...it takes a village :o

Clarich007 · 13/08/2018 22:36

Hate the name Rosie

Gruach · 13/08/2018 22:44

I missed the last couple of scenes tonight - but think I heard Pip mention an appointment to register the infant? Are we expecting a last minute change of mind?

FlosCampi · 13/08/2018 22:45

How could baby Rosie hold a toy giraffe and hit Daddy in the face with it repeatedly? Isn't she two weeks old?!

Gruach · 13/08/2018 22:54

Tsk, Flos! She’s an Archer. And the first-born inheritor of Brookfield - you must expect her to be superhuman.

Guienne · 13/08/2018 23:12

Tiger, there's nothing controversial round here about disliking Pip. If anything, it would be more controversial if you said you liked her.

LassWiADelicateAir · 13/08/2018 23:14

I didn't think I could dislike Pip more than I did but she excelled herself tonight. She is beyond selfish and self- centered. I loathe her.

Oh and boop for Johnny.

C8H10N4O2 · 14/08/2018 00:06

She is beyond selfish and self- centered. I loathe her.

She is horrible and I noted the reference to "Mum" having a go a Josh for not putting goldenPips first. I am longing for the day when Josh tells them all to sod off, his business comes first as they have made it very plain he has no future at Brookfield.

Oh and boop for Johnny.

Yes good for him. WhinyFreds can go off traveling with goldenPips - they deserve each other. Verily they are the Kates of the next generation.

HatingTheBigShow · 14/08/2018 02:09

I love Johnny. I'm amazed nobody else has read pathetic Freddy the riot act so far, although Kate wanted to. So far it's been all, "Gosh, what a mess, have a new phone. Is your horrible aunt feeding you properly? No? Have some brownies." My mother would have killed me.

Gruach · 14/08/2018 06:12

So - I guess now we can be pretty certain, given Freddie’s confidence in the matter, that things won’t end with an avuncular telling-off at the magistrate’s court?

NorthernLurker · 14/08/2018 08:13

Unless I've missed something hasn't Freddie stuck to the tale he bought them from some random? The magistrate is going to freak out when they hear that palpable bollocks.
