oh the potential if tobee gets incapacitated due to speeding/still exploding and his wife? from brighton making an appearance?

BertrandRussell · 10/05/2017 19:31

Well, that was the most boring episode ever............

birdsdestiny · 10/05/2017 20:25

Did anyone hear Eddie Grundy on today programme this morning. He has helped set up the only orchestra in the country for children with additional needs. He sounded so well informed and passionate about this subject. I was very impressed.

TheAntiBoop · 10/05/2017 20:39

Yes - it was ed. it was nice to hear!

AuntyElle · 10/05/2017 21:45

Good lord, that bedroom scene was excruciating enough without Pip sounding like she had something in her mouth the whole time... Hmm Does that weird speech thing she does have a name? So annoying!

Too right Francis!!

dairyfarmerswife · 10/05/2017 23:04

Did anyone else notice Ed Sheeran 'driving at 90 down these country lanes' in the background at the bungalow tonight? Grin

DadDadDad · 10/05/2017 23:30

Did anyone (cruelly) think that if Bill hadn't been such a roly-poly cat (going by Anisha's assessment), he might have been able to move out the way of the car more successfully? Blush

My other theory is that when Lynda first told Peggy about Bill, the way she worded things she left open the possibility that her (or Robert's) car was the one that had hit the cat - she just didn't want to admit it. Maybe Brian did just run over a bag, and is feeling guilty unnecessarily...

Imbroglio · 10/05/2017 23:49

FGS Toby. Give up now.

BuckingFrolicks2 · 10/05/2017 23:54

I'll miss Bill. What a fine actor he was.

JeNeSuisPasVotreMiel · 11/05/2017 00:06

I don't think you can compare accidentally running over a cat to compromising the bio security of two other farms

But that was exactly the (counter)point of Bill's demise. He was already a health concern, he'd been set up for sacrifice on the tarmac in order to juxtapose Pip's shoddy behaviour against Brine's perfect and timely apology.

Demonstrating to us all that is A Better Thing to fess up and take the heat than to shirk about hoping to get away with it.
With a Not Having To Be Completely Honest clause where Lynda Snell is concerned, as some kind of payoff.

Minimammoth · 11/05/2017 06:32

I'm glad that the archers is still an educational program, leading the way through modern ethics and morals. ( nodding wisely)

ArgyMargy · 11/05/2017 07:02

Yes, Dad3 that was my first thought! Bill was old as well as fat though, so reflexes not what they were, I guess.

If there is to be a road accident/death, it will be interesting to see whether the SW reflect the stats. Rural lanes are notorious because unlike motorway crash barriers, other cars, street furniture etc, trees do not budge and are far more likely to cause fatalities. The most likely demographic is the male aged 18-25.

Dozer · 11/05/2017 07:08

Yes, my DH and lots of his friends had car and motorbike accidents in country lanes.

I wondered if Daisy Badger (who plays Pip) has a pierced tongue? (Yes, I know there's a name for it but I can't remember what it is). It might explain the weird way she talks if she's trying to avoid a big barbell from clamping against her teeth?

Or perhaps it is just BAA

LeninaCrowne · 11/05/2017 07:43

I switched off the radio as soon as Tobee said the word "bed".

I'm gettin too old, I don't want to hear to PipnTobes sex life.

Jenesuis- that wasn't my poibt. I was responding to someone saying it served Brian right because he had been sanctimonious about the ibr thing (I don't think he was really - bridge farm had the monopoly on that)

debska · 11/05/2017 08:08

Interesting thread title in view of tobeeees little problem

R4 · 11/05/2017 08:19

Thanks DFW. I was trying to work out what the background music was, but am not down enough with da kidz to recognise that Ed Sheeran track.

On Kill Bill theories: do you think that it was Christine - she seemed extraordinarily overcome by remorse? grief.Grin

TheAntiBoop · 11/05/2017 08:27

Poor bill. He was probably run over by half of ambridge!

CeciledeVolanges · 11/05/2017 08:33

I'm in my mid twenties and never want to hear about Pip's and Toby's sex life again. Ever.

EBearhug · 11/05/2017 08:52

I'm in my mid twenties and never want to hear about Pip's and Toby's sex life again. Ever.

To be fair, it sounds like there wasn't one. Toby didn't strike me as the type to be put off by the possibility of others being in the House though.

I'm still disturbed by the shower scene. And then there's Lilian and Justin. I don't need to hear any of this.
