Maybe Jill will sell Glebe Cottage.

TheAntiBoop · 30/04/2017 19:15

Pip excels at being an idiot

EBearhug · 30/04/2017 19:19

But while I am here - didn't Pip and Toby agree terms to the loan when they made it? I had a £5000 loan from a friend some years ago, and we agreed the repayments, when they'd start, what the interest would be, and by which time the loan should be repaid. Like you'd do with a bank. (Although a key difference is that I am not Toby, so my friend knew he would get his money back.)

Imbroglio · 30/04/2017 19:24

Pip backed Toby to spite Jill. I hope Jill finds out soon.

AuldHeathen · 30/04/2017 19:32

My recollection is of the loan being vague and somewhat open ended, but I came on to check if this is the case as I can't rely on my memory these days.

BertrandRussell · 30/04/2017 19:38

Isn't Toby a slug! "Not this again..." How dare he!

redshoeblueshoe · 30/04/2017 19:46

Pip offered Toby the loan. Toby initially said no, then she pushed it.
Yes to renting out Rickyard.

Poor Eddie - and well predicted by whoever it was.

Ah, but Ed has picked up her work at the herbal leys.

BertrandRussell · 30/04/2017 20:41

Is Toby paying rent?

redshoeblueshoe · 30/04/2017 20:45

I doubt either Toby or Pip are paying rent

AuldHeathen · 30/04/2017 23:57

I'll bet Toby doesn't even contribute to the groceries. Tonight I was almost expecting her to chuck Toby out. She'd never get her money back if they split up, but she's unlikely to see it again anyway.

ErrolTheDragon · 01/05/2017 00:06

She won't have anything in writing, will she? Presumably Kenton does, at least.

Jill isn't going to be happy when all this comes to light

Isn't glebe cottage Shulas inheritance?

Yes Dan and Doris left Shula the cottage and some other stuff(basically everything they had which wasn't the farm) which was presumably why she was quite happy for David to have the farm and argued against Kenton and Elizabeth in the Great Brookfield Inheritance Wars.
