Am I the only one who thinks that Justin isn't as rich as he seems? Selling off land, and he seemed very interested in Lils £50,000......
Or am I imagining a storyline? ☺️

newtlover · 21/04/2017 16:48

oooh, now that would be interesting!

Gruach · 21/04/2017 16:54

She only proposed to get back at Matt. Nothing else.

Oh, here's a thing:

No chance of going myself but might tempt some of you.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 21/04/2017 16:56

She proposed but it was basically a way of accepting his original crass proposal, right? I just don't like the way they're writing her now!

redshoeblueshoe · 21/04/2017 16:58

I always thought it was Miranda who had the money. As for Rex - he was just jealous. Though if Rex's is driving a taxi he would know all the local gossip, and he should have realised that Matt was only flirting to get Lillian jealous.

Minimammoth · 21/04/2017 17:11

So how is Matt a potential client for Anisha? Does he have a stable of horses or a budgy perhaps?

BertrandRussell · 21/04/2017 17:15

Matt's scoping out race horses for his Ukrainian masters.
Anisha offered to do the initial vetting.

That would be interesting wouldn't it? If Miranda is the one with the money and he wants a quick divorce, so does badly financially out of it, and then finds Lill is not as well off as he'd hoped........

I don't like Justin's transformation into Prince Charming - I preferred him as the pantomime villain, and even if they're trying to make him more sympathetic he's behaved very badly to Miranda.

Minimammoth · 21/04/2017 18:14

I've obviously not been listening.

TheAntiBoop · 21/04/2017 18:41

Justin knows she is financially challenged though doesn't he? When he rented the house from her

AuldHeathen · 21/04/2017 18:44

What gets me is how in TA all women need to pair up. Unless they're elderly and widowed after a long marriage (Jill, Peggy, Carol). Jings, if she's got a breath in her she's gotta get her man. Yes yes, I know, there's Christine too - but she's got her chaste little friendship with Jim.

AuldHeathen · 21/04/2017 18:46

Yes, I'm sure it's Miranda with the dosh.

Abraiid2 · 21/04/2017 19:09

Tom really has regressed into his most unpleasant. I thought he had grown up.

Gruach · 21/04/2017 19:11

This Pip and Ruth thing is ridiculous!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 21/04/2017 19:16

23 years too late to tell her the sun doesn't shine out of her fundament!

BluePheasant · 21/04/2017 19:17

Oh ffs Ruth get over it! Typical of her making it all about her and wanting sympathy.

Abraiid2 · 21/04/2017 19:20

They should be into damage limitation now and rebuilding their reputation. Going round to all the other farms and telling them what happened.

Marchate · 21/04/2017 19:23

They're picking up on the current Snowflake Generation theme, I think

Stickerrocks · 21/04/2017 19:25

Now we just need Toby to come a cropper & they can leave A bridge together.

BertrandRussell · 21/04/2017 19:30

I think I would feel exactly the same as Ruth does. My adult dd did did something recently that goes against all the values I thought I I'd brought her up with and it'a incredibly painful. And it does make you think you've failed......

Ceto · 21/04/2017 19:36

I quite enjoyed hearing Ruth acknowledge for once that the sun doesn't shine out of Pip's backside. Pip's such a self-centred person, she probably felt that if she could get Ruth to speak up Ruth would end up forgiving her, so it's very satisfying that that didn't happen.

Imbroglio · 21/04/2017 19:38

I agree Bertrand. Ruth has covered up for Pip and backed her against other family members. But Pip let her take the rap when things went wrong. I'd feel betrayed.

picklemepopcorn · 21/04/2017 19:54

I think Pip needed to hear that.

I always thought the deal over the land was dodgy... Not open market etc.

And I still quite like everyone and don't get the Brookfield 'hate'. I think they are close to going under. Hasn't Brian's farm got insurance for this kind of situation?

AuldHeathen · 21/04/2017 19:56

Yep, I can understand Ruth feels betrayed too - and why.
