I didn't think he bullied her - she could have dealt with him far more intelligently

Vango · 21/03/2017 21:02

Yes but she's still a cheat.

Which she's already admitted. And she was saving herself. He'd probably have done the same. Would it have been a better outcome if she'd have been the one on the floor? He wasn't giving the newcomer to the village much of a choice.

ErrolTheDragon · 21/03/2017 21:19

Er, Pip, hasn't it crossed your mind that you are the likeliest candidate as the idiot who introduced IBR to the herd.Hmm

Only Pip would have the brass neck to do that.
Even she only did it after being pushed by Toby.

ErrolTheDragon · 21/03/2017 21:20

Primroses? Plenty of celandines but I've not seen any primroses yet.

Minimammoth · 21/03/2017 21:24

Definitely primroses out here, and celandine.

ErrolTheDragon · 21/03/2017 21:33

Jill didn't sound entirely trusting of Pip to me.

Who's Phillip? Thought it was Harrison and then dr Locke
Whatever that accent was, it wasn't Lancashire - I thought it had a bit of a Welsh lilt to it? Never mind that though - little owls!

TheAntiBoop · 21/03/2017 21:34

Yes it was Welsh - but at the start it was confusing!

Imbroglio · 21/03/2017 21:38

Jill is so going to talk to David and Ruth...

StVincent · 21/03/2017 22:09

Yay Errol you're right - little owls! Smile

Kimiko · 21/03/2017 23:54

The actress playing Pip , whether by accident or design, actually did some credible acting tonight in the scene where she was buttering up Jill and lying very badly.

EBearhug · 22/03/2017 00:28

Loads of primroses round here, and have been for a week or more.

Gherkinsmummy · 22/03/2017 07:14

I thought Ruth had inherited some money from HeatherPet - why doesn't she lend it to Pip?

Ref. Drinking match, I'm team Anisha, Jazzer would've got paralytic anyway with or without a competition, it was Burns night wasn't it?

Philip of the Little Owls sounded nice (not a moron like Shaun or the other builders we've heard in TA). Sounds like a huge bill to be paid by the Hunt Leaders though.

ErrolTheDragon · 22/03/2017 08:00

Was last year's money supposed to be a loan? She certainly doesn't seem to be thinking of it as such.

Gallavich · 22/03/2017 08:03

They expected her to use her profits to grow the business. Was the £5k profit or total turnover? Presumably she paid back their initial loan? Otherwise she gave the whole turnover to Toby which would have been insane Confused

ErrolTheDragon · 22/03/2017 08:40

I didn't think she'd repaid the capital. I thought she said at one point she'd made a couple of thousand profit but had treated that as income (or words to that effect).

redshoeblueshoe · 22/03/2017 08:51

I don't think there has been any indication that Pip paid back the initial loan. Also doesn't Ruth know about her giving lending money to Tobeeeee, whereas David doesn't.

It could be fun tonight.

LillianGish · 22/03/2017 11:34

The hunt is looking at a massive bill - and just after Alistair has forked out a fortune for the practice (and Anissa seems to have disappeared). Money troubles ahead for Shula and Alistair.
Pip has to be caught out doesn't she - with her lie to Jill and the IBR?

RedBugMug · 22/03/2017 13:52

how can ruth and david loan pip ££££ if they groan about a 2k vet bill?

mummytime · 22/03/2017 14:45

The one bit that jarred yesterday was Jill's casual comment about it being nice to see the hens out again. Well they aren't around here due to the bird flu.
I think she repaid the capital but then wasted her profits.

ErrolTheDragon · 22/03/2017 15:26

Oh yes, poultry is still meant to be indoors?

Has that been mentioned at all? If it has, not much.

glamorousgrandmother · 22/03/2017 16:45

Oh yes, poultry is still meant to be indoors?

In areas not thought to be at high risk they are now allowed outside. They are out here in South Yorkshire.

mummytime · 22/03/2017 17:58

They still seem to be inside here in the se. It's sad as I drive past somewhere that kept hens freerange every day, and it's so quiet now.
