Avoided a non-sweary title.

Totally agree with the continuity announcer. I rather enjoyed Tracey, as well as the Rob bits.

Huge Canoe is making a good start.

That's bunting, btw. Archers Grin Wine

BluePheasant · 20/01/2017 19:20

Ah that was a beautiful moment Grin

Rob getting the job and soon after being sacked was far more satisfying than not getting the job at all would have been! And because of Stefan too! Well played!!

enochroot · 20/01/2017 19:21

I hope Lillian's had the foresight to warn Helen to put those children under guard. If ever he was going to snatch them then now's the time.

MyOtherNameIsTaken · 20/01/2017 19:21

Yes!! Such a satisfying episode! 😆

Re family tree:

Dan m Doris
Three children:
Jack m Peggy (who later married Jack Woolley)
Peggy and Jack Archer had three children:
Jennifer, Lilian, Tony
Children of J, L, T: Adam, Debbie, Kate, Alice; James; John, Helen, Tom
Children of that generation: Phoebe, Noli and Kate's other child whose name escapes me; James's son, whose name also escapes me; Johnnie, Henry, Jack (and soon we will also have Chipolata or Chorizo)

Phil (m Grace (1, no issue), Jill (2)
Phil and Jill had four children:
Shula, Kenton, David, Elizabeth
Children of S, K, D, E: Dan, Meriel, Pip, Josh, Ben, Freddie, Lily
As yet, no children of that generation.

Christine: one adopted son, Peter, who as far as we know has no children.

Good luck to Knob in Minnesota - no room for foreign dairy managers in Trump's USA

He's got nothing to lose now

And poor stefan won't get his money

R4 · 20/01/2017 19:36

Ha ha. Did you like the compare and contrast. Who stands up best to questioning under pressure: Rob or the 17y.o. twins? Grin

Shallishanti · 20/01/2017 19:36

wasn't James's son called Mowgli or something daft?
without wishing to seem demanding I would have much preferred to see Rob get his come-uppance in a court of law and for justice to be seen to be done (even if it were for flood skull duggery and not coercive control/rape) than Justin punish him by sacking him.

Abraiid2 · 20/01/2017 19:37

Mungo

MyOtherNameIsTaken · 20/01/2017 19:38

Sadly, I am listening again. Grin

DadDadDad · 20/01/2017 19:50

Great stuff! But have I missed something: how does Justin know about the culvert blocking and how does he know Stefan witnessed it? I don't think that information was explicit in what Lil overheard yesterday.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 20/01/2017 19:52

Yes! Mungo Bellamy.

Kate's two South African children are Sipho and Noluthando Madikane.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 20/01/2017 19:52

Lilian pieced it together from Jennifer's recollections and what she overheard?

R4 · 20/01/2017 19:53

Lillian overheard a heated argument between Rob and that bloke that JD recognised. Maybe Lil and JD had a chat and it all came out.

Cromwell1536 · 20/01/2017 19:56

Ooh, lovely! I just want Rob gorrrrnnn now. Banishment to Minnesota by far the best resolution in my view. Not only because I couldn't bear another 12 months of dingly-dangly-will-she-won't-she-pull-on-her-big-girl-pants from Helen, but also because I think it actually rather fitting for Rob to be banished by Feel-my-big-balls-businessman-Justin. So much more humiliating for this nasty piece of misogynist shit (see - that's what misogynist looks like, virtue-signalling people of Mumsnet) to be booted into touch by someone whose opinion he would actually rate, than be manoeuvred through the courts by what he would see as a monstrous regiment of women and a feminazied court system. This may of course be premature, but HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!

echt · 20/01/2017 19:58

Outstanding episode, especially the way Rob played true to character by bringing it back to the horrible women, and sneering at the job he's just had removed. Agree that now's the time for him to go OTT about the children.

On another note, I found Freddie's delivery, tone and general voice rather like Toebee's. Is there room for two deceitful, apparently charming ne'er-do-wells in the same drama?

ScrumpyBetty · 20/01/2017 19:58

I almost felt sorry for Rob for a moment

Then again, maybe not. Grin

BluePheasant · 20/01/2017 20:02

I hope we get to hear a nice little chat between Lillian and Jennifer about how she revealed all Justin.

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 20/01/2017 20:34

Oh boop Lillian and Justin.

R4 · 20/01/2017 20:48

Do you think that Rob inwardly shouted "Doggone!" when he realised that he had been hounded out by a pinscher movement between Justin and Lil.

echt · 20/01/2017 20:49

Hang on, will Rob put the knife in on Justin and Lil to Miranda? She suspects, but hasn't had the proof. Rob has nothing to lose here, seeing as no agri-business in the country will touch him wth the proverbial if Justin has anything to do with it.
