I heard that they released tonight's episode for download by mistake, but I was good and didn't check.

Last night's episode certainly sounded like the spawn of Toby was about to erupt into the world. However I'm pretty sure "Brighton" has been a thing for well over a year, e.g. Rex saying ages ago "It's not going to be Brighton all over again?", so I think there is more to it than Toby having got a woman pregnant 9 months ago.

Brighton's been in the background almost as long as the Fairbrethren, and we've had two lots of Christmas geese, so they must be coming up to their two year anniversary in a few months. It would be a very long gestation.

Also Rex said the thing about not wanting a repeat of Brighton pretty early on suggesting something had already happened.

If it is a baby I think we will be encouraged to forget all the previous. The one thing I won't get past is that if Rex knew he would definitely have told pip

Well I didn't get anything from that conversation other than the fact that Toby has both male and female friends. Pip obviously doesn't like that.

Is that normal behaviour for someone newly entering a veterinary partnership? Where is Anisha expecting Alistair to get £250k from? Is Alistair going to get into financial difficulties again?

Didn't Alistair and Anisha have 'the way forward' conversation before going into partnership?

I agree, you would have thought they would have discussed capital expenditure and a business plan before she bought her way in.
