Hopefully we can go back to an ordinary tale of country folk?

Spoilers are frowned upon.... There's a thread for that.

Hello!

Vango · 22/09/2016 19:14

Ha! There's Peggy again. Completely wrong about things.

Vango · 22/09/2016 19:14

Thanks for the new thread! 😁

FiftyNineOhEight · 22/09/2016 19:17

Thank you for the new thread. I am completely sucked in again post-trial. it doesn't take long does it!

PresidentOliviaMumsnet · 22/09/2016 19:17

PLEASE no more nonsense from Christine and her crappy biscuits.

R4 · 22/09/2016 19:18

EsmesBees · 22/09/2016 19:18

Completely wrong! I did think her advice to Emma was good though.

Was there change-counting?!

I missed that Sad

(and thanks, as always, Pseudo)

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 22/09/2016 19:29

Thanks for the new thread, Pseudo!

Good to hear Jill and Jennifer guardedly comparing notes on their F&P entries. Who will win that inaugural Freda Fry Memorial Plate, or whatever it is? I'm on tenterhooks. Grin

GypsyFl0ss · 22/09/2016 19:42

Lovely title Pseudo many thanks once again.

R4 · 22/09/2016 19:46

We had new-improved-change-counting, Bore
"That will be 7.52"
"There's eight pounds. Shall I give you the tuppence?"

PseudoBadger · 22/09/2016 19:47

The title is a Dopey quote from last week which just struck me, so I wanted to use it

BoreOfWhabylon · 22/09/2016 19:48

Ooh, that sounds lovely R4 Grin

However did I miss that?

Fink · 22/09/2016 20:01

It was even better than standard change counting. After "shall I give you the twopence?" there was, " Yes please." And then ADDED PURSE RUMMAGING SOUNDS! Delightful. Smile

I wonder if Baby Jack, Daddy, and Grandad at the tea room for 3 hours will feature any change counting.

TheAntiBoop · 22/09/2016 20:11

Doubt it. Knob will expect feeding for free

EBearhug · 22/09/2016 20:12

I too enjoyed the change counting and mention of Jim. Am I alone in sensing the SWS are doing "proper" Archers, now SOC''s gone?

Also, does Peggy always say "dear" quite so much? A couple of mentions, yes, but it was punctuatiNg every other word.

Putthetulipsthere · 22/09/2016 20:20

Lovely episode - again😀. Particularly liked the sparring between Jennifer and Jill regarding the most important event of the year.

Hopefully Lynda will resurface soon to start auditioning for the Christmas show. Wonder what she will come up with this year? - Shakespeare maybe given the anniversary this year. (If so, just make sure it's a comedy Hoo)

BertrandRussell · 22/09/2016 20:43

What was Peggy wrong about?

Cherylene · 22/09/2016 20:52

What do you do with a 4 month old in a tea shop? Confused

bilbodog · 22/09/2016 20:52

Thanks for the new thread. I am eagerly awaiting knobs come uppance.

ppeatfruit · 22/09/2016 20:56

Ha Grin got in on the first page of the new thread! Thanks AGAIN for it psuedo I'll LA tomorrow, but it's so nice to be back to normal on TA isn't it?

Cherylene · 22/09/2016 20:56
  • for 3 hours, in the tea shop, that is.................
ppeatfruit · 22/09/2016 20:58

Peggy's always said "Dear" too much but it's her watchword!
