I've just browsed Lowfield for the first time - they really don't like Pat do they!

No - I heard it for the first time today so was listening with attention - Pat explained that it was the woman who had worked for them before and that Kirsty had got in touch with her. So Anya - from the original Ambridge Organics deli in Borchester. (Kirsty wouldn't have been in touch with HWMNBN's daughter ...)

It's Anya in the shop. The one Knob got rid of, but is now coming back.

I'm still waiting for Knob to turn up and demand that Pat allows him to resume 'his' job there. And the idiot woman would no doubt let him.

Btw, isn't it weeks since Kirsty belatedly remembered about the phone she bought H, and told Tom she would find out whether H had used it to call WA? What happened about that? Nothing?? What's taking her so long?

This kind of shows why they need to be careful with names!!

I don't have a problem with similar names- it's like real life.

How hard would it be for them to have a list of all living characters past and present and just make sure the names are different enough

I know it's like real life and all, but there are an awful lot of names out there to choose from. When you can't separate people out by what they look like, it does help if names are better differentiated.

It's the Ambridge version of the Kardashians.

But EBear in real life you would probably have met Anna/Ana/Anya and know what they look like, who they are related to etc, and would have them clearly defined in your mind. For me this is very confusing as I don't remember Anya and until today had got her mixed up with Tina. It's not great when you have to rely so much on a website to get your head straight. It's also why I get so annoyed that they can't cast actors with distinctive voices. Real life is in video..!

[Bangs head on table] I posted about the difference between Anya and Anna/Ana pages ago, when the episode was first broadcast and someone got confused. Am I posting in invisible ink or something?
