"Get outta my village" screams Peggy Mitchell

Something needs to happen to illuminate Rob's Knobishness to the police and the judge. An absolute pulling the curtain across to expose all his horrible deeds: the blocking of the culvert, the Charlie blackmail, the Iain secret thing, Helen's financial abuse, the rape, the bruises...

EquinoxBloom · 22/05/2016 07:41

This is entirely why Jess is being kept in aspic at the moment. For the Big Trial Reveal.

BeauGlacons · 22/05/2016 07:53

Well, I am going to get dressed and do a couple of hours in the garden before the Omnibus Smile

redshoeblueshoe · 22/05/2016 08:40

Smallegs - I totally agree, I thought PN was very condescending, to state we have been informed

Hopefully someone at the BBC reads stuff like this thread and realises people have stopped listening because its shite.

redshoeblueshoe · 22/05/2016 08:42

Beau - I think I'll do the garden instead of listening

BYOSnowman · 22/05/2016 09:37

Wow - that polly neate article lives up to all those criticisms of campaigning charities. So caught up in the good they do that they forget they are not the only people who have an opinion or are allowed an opinion.

I stopped listening because the writing is bad and the plotting is bad. Perhaps she is trying to make the best of a bad situation as I can't imagine anyone who works with dv victims were pleased with the stabbing.

SaraTheFairy · 22/05/2016 10:34

I'm catching up with the the film. Please can someone create an invention that mutes out Pat. They'd make a fortune 😡

EasyToEatTiger · 22/05/2016 10:54

So... These days, TA is ONLY about Helen Titchner. And the uselessness of the powers that be. Still not safe to turn on the radio. I'd rather listen to You and Yours. Oh dear. The sound of radio silence reigns at the moment!

WipsGlitter · 22/05/2016 10:55

Listening to omnibus - Tom is being a right arse to Jonny.

LyndaNotLinda · 22/05/2016 11:09

Urgh Pip and Toby and the filming is vile.

BitOutOfPractice · 22/05/2016 11:17

Easy that's not true. In this omnibus there was plenty of other stuff. The pigs, Jenny and Brisn's party, ed and Joe's antics, pip and Sam breaking up, more on Lynda's garden, the jumble trail, ed and Emma's anniversary etc etc etc

ppeatfruit · 22/05/2016 11:31

I thought the drone filming was fun esp. Josh or was it Burt ? going on and on about Pip wearing make up. Grin Exactly BOOP Grin

EasyToEatTiger · 22/05/2016 11:55

Sorry I was wrong there. Of course there are other things going on. What I think I meant is that any mention of BF, Arse, Knob, H or Henwee will shine no light. For those many of us who have endured DA, know well that it rumbles on and on and on and on and on, and that it takes years to come to terms with it, it is not helpful or insightful to listen to on the radio. We know that any light in that tunnel is the light of the oncoming train. For those who have not experienced DA, is the H/Knob storyline interesting/insightful/helpful?.
I spend quite a lot of time waiting for paint to dry. I suppose that could be strung out over several weeks or months.HmmSadArchers

ppeatfruit · 22/05/2016 12:09

I don't listen to radio dramas ,or watch TV dramas for insightfulness etc. Easy The custard gate SL is bit, yawn and frustrating tbh. but I still listen.

I don't identify with Hell. More Kirsty I suppose, if anyone in it. DH can be a bit annoying but he's not into EA. Grin I don't mean to make light of it btw.

Lorsaidthedean · 22/05/2016 12:11

God, I hate Pat! ( just felt the need to say it).

LyndaNotLinda · 22/05/2016 12:18

It's Pip's simpering I can't bear.

And I hate Pat too and I used to love her :(

SuffolkNWhat · 22/05/2016 12:25

Pat: it's all about me, Meee, MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 22/05/2016 12:48

Has Pat always been a bit narcissistic? I know someone with NPD and she would react to a situation like this in a very similar fashion.

shinynewusername · 22/05/2016 13:04

Has Pat always been a bit narcissistic?

Not in the least. One of the frustrations for ancient loyal listeners like me is Pat's total character change. Pat used to be the cope-er - it was Tony who used to catastrophise with a streak of self-pity.

None of this rings true.

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 22/05/2016 13:04

She was a bit me me me anout the whole Rich Johnny thing but generally her current behaviour is more typical of Helen but without the side order of manipulation Helen usually throws in.

Minimammoth · 22/05/2016 15:05

Ah Pip, the Emma Watson of Ambridge.
Are we waiting with bated breath for tonight, boy or girl, are we bovvered.

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 22/05/2016 15:09

Hmm that's what I thought. I know Tony's always been a bit doom and gloom but he doesn't seem to be particularly indulging that side except with the comments about Peggybank dying.

Gruach · 22/05/2016 19:03

Nervous ...

BoreOfWhabylon · 22/05/2016 19:03

Oh, it's early Saturday morning.

SOC time-warp again.

And stfu Prat

ColdTeaAgain · 22/05/2016 19:04

Oh ffs Pat! Less than 1 minute in and she's at it already! Me me me!
