Rob - dead? No, no, he's, er, resting. He's just pining for the Canadian plains. As Helen is taken into custardy, discuss the Archers here.

I like the fact that you can half-remember something, and someone else will not only be able to give you chapter and verse, but also the exact place you can find a recording of it (still grateful to the person who let me listen again to salmon-gate).

R4 · 04/04/2016 22:12

Scones, Kr1stina? Did you make them or are they Christine's?

Wordsaremything · 04/04/2016 22:13

Oh Jill makes very nice scones -she brought some round earlier. Tea, anyone?

Stickerrocks · 04/04/2016 22:14

The police car & ambulance would have driven past Peggy's front door as BHC is up the road & on the left from the Lodge. You would have thought she would have wandered up there more often in daylight hours as it's such a short hop. Why didn't Christine do with her?

Limelight · 04/04/2016 22:14

Speaking of clever posters who know and remember all... can someone explain the hunt sab and also the Stefan thing? Who if Stefan? I had a period of not listening because I got a bit irritated so I have a context gap.

PseudoBadger · 04/04/2016 22:14

Funnily enough i barely post on these currently, and when I do I am mostly ignored Grin (apart from the first few posts). Bastards Grin

I confess that I had a mild panic when posting yesterday that I might actually land on the 50,000th post and old-timers might be annoyed (I think I accidentally contributed hundreds to the last thread).

Welshwabbit · 04/04/2016 22:15

I am a laydee barrister. Do I get tea too?

Wordsaremything · 04/04/2016 22:15

CuttedUpPear · 04/04/2016 22:15

I actually LA to yesterdays' today. The tuna denial was what did it for me. Proof of gaslighting.
Our poor dog was cowering as all the shouting was going on.

Wordsaremything · 04/04/2016 22:17

Only if I know you ! Crim? Wine

Wordsaremything · 04/04/2016 22:18

Oh cutted joking aside I put mine upstairs quickly as they hate shouting.

JessieMcJessie · 04/04/2016 22:19

Just been speaking to my little brother, a lapsed listener, who declared that he had in fact stopped listening about 3 years ago because he found Helen so annoying it was unbearable. Said he turned on randomly yesterday lunchtime just as she stabbed Rob and thought "typical bloody Helen!". Smile

EnglishFern · 04/04/2016 22:20

Bloody Peggy. About as much use as a chocolate fire guard

Welshwabbit · 04/04/2016 22:21

No, Wordsaremything, employment. Does that mean no tea?

R4 · 04/04/2016 22:22

Limelight
Hunt saboteur was trying to sabotage. Rob didn't take too well to this and got violent. Was witnessed by Shula. HS tried to bring charges. Shula backed up Rob's version of events, perjuring herself.
Stefan worked at Berrow Farm. Saw Rob doing something bad during the flood and told people. Next thing we know Stefan had to rush back to Eastern Europe for some family emergencyHmm and has been untraceable since.

BYOSnowman · 04/04/2016 22:22

What is the photo that comes up instead of a smiley? Or is it just my phone?

DadDadDad · 04/04/2016 22:22

Pseudo - your posts get highlighted as the OP - they are really hard to ignore! Grin

AugustaFinkNottle · 04/04/2016 22:22

Stefan was one of the farm workers who saw Rob messing around a culvert at the time of the flood, said culvert subsequently turning out to have been mysteriously blocked and causing the water to divert from Berrow and causing the flood in the village to be much worse than it would otherwise have been; Charlie nearly drowned clearing it. Stefan told David and Jennifer who got all interested and spoke to Stefan, but subsequently seem to have forgotten all about it. Shortly afterwards he mysteriously disappeared, allegedly having gone back to his home country and having only told Rob he was going.

Limelight · 04/04/2016 22:22

Thanks R4!

YesterdayOnceMore · 04/04/2016 22:23

Please can someone remind me where Rob was stabbed. I know it was mentioned several times on the thread, but would take me hours to look back and find it.

Whilst irritated with how storyline went yesterday, I love how Archers dramatic episodes heavily feature Custard.Grin

And I love D^3 stats.

Oh and I'm an infrequent poster/ regular lurker. I have also has several names. Always felt welcome and no clique here.

Gruach · 04/04/2016 22:23

Interesting - but somewhat hurried Kingscote. They're still calling it a murder even after stating that Rob hasn't died.

Ah, with what fondness I recall the 72 hour congas around The Mailbox to celebrate every new poster. Invariably followed by a slap-up cream tea at Harvey Nicks ... Nowadays, with the threads flying by so fast, it sometimes feels as if offering an individual welcome would be drawing attention to myself rather than the newbie.

(I am still assiduously sweeping up lost souls who try to start the first ever MN TA thread ...)

Vango · 04/04/2016 22:24

Limelight Briefly: Rob was on a hunt with Shula et al when it was disrupted by some sabs. Rob attacked one of them and broke his camera I believe. Shula lied to Harrison to protect Rob.

Stefan was a Polish worker at Berrow Farm. He witnessed Rob blocking the culvert (causing worse flooding) and reported that to Jenny and David (in D's capacity as Flood Warden) at a secret meeting in a cafe in Borchester. J & D told Charlie. Charlie told Rob he was going to speak to all the employees about it at which point Stefan promptly disappeared. Rob reported to Charlie that he'd been called back to Poland to visit a sick relative. Storyline dropped..........until now?

AugustaFinkNottle · 04/04/2016 22:24

Poor Henry will probably tell Pat and Tony and Peggy about Tom Rabbit, and foul Peggy will say "Quite right too" and tell him to pull himself together.

EnglishFern · 04/04/2016 22:25

Stabs were chest and stomach I think. And a cut wrist
