I've just got myself some lilac flannels because my previous lovely neutral ones that go with the bathroom got lost in the pile of towels. They were the closest to pale grey that wasn't actually pale grey. BHS, if you care.

My dislike of Dorothy/Smugula is probably due to jealousy.

My Mil doesn't even change the sheets between guests or put the bloody radiator on we also play hunt the guest towel as she just hangs them up in the bathroom. We are very different, unlike D and S.
And R4 they are multi-coloured!

I remember when Dan was preparing to join the army and was being very secretive about it all. Shula had noticed he was going out a lot, had started working out, taking care of his appearance and wondered if there was a girlfriend on the scene. When he was preparing to tell them about his army decision (@you may have noticed a few changes, something big to tell you, you might find it difficult etc etc") I was convinced he was going to come out.

But surely in this day and age, not even The Archers would think he'd need to be all cloak and dagger with a fake girlfriend etc etc. It wouldn't be very progressive.

Actually if the archers really wanted to be in with the youf. They would have excruciating conversations between Phoebe, Freddy, Lily and anyone else that kind of age about being "pan-sexual" or "Demi-sexual" etc. (And the Urban dictionary has a great definition of pan-sexual, as someone who is attracted to pans.)

God, they would, wouldn't they? DS likes to throw in conversational bombshells at tea: 'You know Charlie, who's genderfluid but mostly identifies as male, well, he's organising the boys v girls tug of war at school and doesn't know which team to be on, so we all said just pick a side mate, and now I'm wondering if that was like insulting because it suggests fluid is more like sort of indecisive?'

I am delighted that we have arson in the title, as this is one of my specialist subjects. Although sadly there was little interest in the fire on these threads so I didn't get a chance to show off like D^3

Don't you think Dorothy is just Smugula II - The Revenge of Smugula (as unsubtly heralded by them saying the same things last night)? because the writers have realised that they've forgotten to birth someone as prim and goody two-shoes as Shula, so they're filling in for themselves.

With the no drinking and no sex, I'm really hoping Dorothy is actually a Mormon. I had also thought she was a soldier - is she an army medic maybe?
