There is a restrain8ng order and Rob like so many of his ilk wails and gnashes his teeth complains about how unfair it is but ultimately just goes of and finds some one else to pick on and turns up every now and again to try to get access.

Oh, he won't be violent against Henry. No no no. He's not a monster. Simply chastising his stepson, perfectly reasonably, by smacking him for his own good and because of his own disappointing behaviour.

A bit like he didn't rape his wife, simply did what any perfectly loving husband would have done with a wife who clearly ought to want sex.

He makes me feel physically sick, and I don't think I could listen to him in any other radio drama without getting the same visceral response - unfortunately, as he is doing a brilliant job on TA. So far he has worked on ingratiating himself with all characters outside his immediate nuclear set-up, so the only way that he could be involved in the missing money would be if he were to find it - probably in Helen's handbag or Henry's toybox etc. I hope something happens before they go away for that weekend. I don't think he would trust Henry not to blab something, though, so unless he renders him mute it will have to be called off.

I think SOC said something about the storyline being motivated in part by the new law on emotional abuse. So with any luck the resolution will involve the law being used, or at least reasonably extensive references to the fact that Rob's conduct is criminal.
