Not long until our thread's 3 year birthday!

I too think Toby sounds sleazy.
Think the po8nt of the Lill removals qas for the FBrethren to find out Justin wants to support local causes (sponsor), Rex has some common sense (wardrobe) and Toby is a lazy golddigger (leaving you a wealthy woman?)

All a bit forced.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 23/02/2016 20:01

Oh, I think he sounds sleazy too. Also extremely patronising, not to say arrogant. All of which would rule him out as a life partner, but still... that voice...

I liked Charlie's voice too. But my favourite TA voices are Nelson Gabriel and Debbie.

BYOSnowman · 23/02/2016 20:13

I hate Debbie, this has led me to hate Tamsin Greg and, by association, Stephen mangan

Which is awkward as I see him quite a lot as he lives nearby

cheminotte · 23/02/2016 21:12

Threads are certainly moving fast these days. Must be all those place markers. Blush

StubbleTurnips · 23/02/2016 21:21

Envy BYOS Stephen Mangan makes me all kinds of weak at the knees. I would do things with that man.

BYOSnowman · 23/02/2016 21:29

i generally see him with his other half and kids!

I once saw Damian Lewis dropping his kids off at school - one of those rare celebs who is more attractive in real life!!

No archers actors that I would recognise round this way - but then they would have to be talking for me to be able to recognise them!!

Stickerrocks · 23/02/2016 21:49

Shula & Brine dropped in at our local community theatre when David was doing "An evening with" there. Tim gave away some of the scripts from the Nigel's fall aftermath. None of them were in character and they were lovely when we all had drinks afterwards.

StubbleTurnips · 23/02/2016 21:49

Loving the celeb spot slot Grin

BYOSnowman · 23/02/2016 21:52

I do like the fact Shula and brine are married in real life!

I didn't realise I would recognise Usha until I saw a photo of her recently and recognised her. I try not to look at cast photos tbh. They just don't look how they're supposed to!!

AdventuresOfADentist · 23/02/2016 23:18

BYOS does Stephen Mangan seem nice when you come across him? Stupid question I know as how can you tell from walking past him on the street Blush but when he's on HIGNFY etc he seems genuinely nice/affable etc.

A friend said she heard Alan give a speech at a funeral. That must have been surreal.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 24/02/2016 07:48

FGT, I know that is widely alleged on the internet, but the identity of that person was not made public by the court because of the nature of the case (ie the accuser's ID is legally protected). MN at the time pulled all posts that stated the name, so you might want to ask them to remove that post.

LillianGish · 24/02/2016 08:54

Lillian using the Fairbrethren for her move was just a rather clumsy way of allowing her to fill in her backstory for scriptwriters and editors listeners who might not know/have forgotten. Having moved house on numerous occasions I'm surprised that a pair of amateurs could do it so quickly.
On a similar note I wondered if the Knob and Hellin audiobook mentioned down thread was a way of rewriting re-editing the history to make it read the way it would have read in the editor had decided which line the story was going to take from the start rather than changing his mind as he went along with all the pesky loose ends - in the hope that the listeners have as short a memory as he has without the archivist (though not sure why he'd need an archivist for scenes he's presided over). This document will then become the archive.

Gruach · 24/02/2016 09:19

Lil'G I have followed your logic and seen the future.

They ditched the archivist to employ an audiobook editor.

Because they've decided to make TA attractive by selling the product.

But non-R4 audiences want to see the story even more than hear it.

So ... we should expect an announcement, any day now, of the date that "Helen and Rob - The Film" will start filming.

No wonder Steven Moffatt won't have time for Dr WhoShock.

PresidentOliviaMumsnet · 24/02/2016 09:22

Marking place but am massively (about 10/12 eps) behind as RL Shock got in the way..

EBearhug · 24/02/2016 10:08

Don't worry, Olivia - you haven't really missed much.

BYOSnowman · 24/02/2016 13:15

He seems nice

EBearhug · 24/02/2016 13:30

The scan's due today, isn't it?

ppeatfruit · 24/02/2016 16:25

Tomorrow IIRC EBear .

spiker · 24/02/2016 17:16

Anybody else hoping that this scan reveals that - surprise! - it's a girl after all!

Dumdedumdedum · 24/02/2016 17:20

spiker, am not listening as am too cross but now you mention it, yes, of course, would love it to be a gril Wink - except am afraid the abuse by Mother and Son Titchener would escalate at that point..

tibbawyrots · 24/02/2016 17:28

Then that would be Helen's fault too. If it wasn't for the seriousness of what Rob's doing, I would hope that he stays around to see his gay son grow up.
But that can't happen as Rob must go. Soon.

Imbroglio · 24/02/2016 17:30

I think the Fairboys will be knocking on Justin's door for some business investment/sponsorship... they were thrown together with Lillian for the day to find out about him and his wish to be part of the community.

BYOSnowman · 24/02/2016 19:06

Ffs this is smelling more and more of bullshit every minute we get a robhelurs scene
