Forgot the most important Things to do in A when R dead :

Give birth where you choose. With birth partners one likes ...

And yes, maybe get to choose when to become pregnant.

I quite like Hell-Rob saga, but good to have other story lines in there.
Fairbrother Snores, Whose Grungy Farm is it anyway, If only Scruff could talk, Die Ruth Die...

Have just had epic catch up on podcasts and on here, completely missed the previous thread and am only sneaking in at the end of this one.

I went to a conference where the keynote speaker at the end was talking about Psycopaths in the Workplace it was fascinating. Don't think Rob fits the pathology of a psycopath based on what we heard. Interestingly though to do the big study on corporate psycopaths they just advertised for them - they put a load of adds in papers in Australia asking for people with things like 'win at all costs', 'enjoy getting ahead while others languish' etc!!

Not sure if it was just because I binged 2 weeks of podcasts in 2 days but I'm bored of the Clean for the Queen stuff as well - they keep banging on about it in that slightly odd 'We're the Archers and the BBC and here to inform' type way...

redshoeblueshoe · 04/03/2016 18:51

I didn't actually realise that Clean for the Queen was a real thing Blush but here we have snow so everywhere looks clean anyway Grin
Regarding the referendum I think they could easily mention it without being political, any character could say If I hear one more politician talking about the referendum I will scream - or Have you made a decision on how you're voting yet ? and anyone could respond I have made up my mind As yet I've not decided or Hellin Its far to important for a girl like me to decide

Of course we all know Hellin will vote - she will obediently do as she is told.

Sadly as its Friday I'm sure we will hear Knob tonight.

Dawn of Justice - the slow demise of Rob Tichener

cheminotte · 04/03/2016 19:07

Just tuning in. Am about 2 weeks behind with LA. Pat sounds a bit sceptical at least.

EBearhug · 04/03/2016 19:09

Of course Helen hasn't told them anything about what's going on at school. No one's bothered mentioning it to her (if it's actually as Ursula reports.)

Gruach · 04/03/2016 19:10

Exile!

Gherkinsmummy · 04/03/2016 19:10

Why is Psy not asking about Ursula's midwifery experience?

Gherkinsmummy · 04/03/2016 19:11

Pat!

Finbar · 04/03/2016 19:12

Come on Pay!

MrsCampbellBlack · 04/03/2016 19:13

Oh come on, Pat and Tony surely will question Ursula's motives. Come on, who takes criticism of their child without questioning it.

Finbar · 04/03/2016 19:13

Pat

MrsCampbellBlack · 04/03/2016 19:13

I mean when did Pat last talk to Helen on the phone or by herself?

Gruach · 04/03/2016 19:14

Henry's never going home again ...

Gherkinsmummy · 04/03/2016 19:24

Why why why does everyone take rob & Ursula's word for everything ?

MrsCampbellBlack · 04/03/2016 19:26

God knows, I mean they don't know Ursula from Adam.

EsmesBees · 04/03/2016 19:30

This is getting silly. Surely even if Pat listened to Tony's advice not to speak to Helen directly she would make a plan have a quiet word with Kirsty or Ian instead. They are too trusting of Rob. They know how the relationship started. They know he's good at hiding things. They know everything happened very quickly between them. Why are they not more suspicious???

BYOSnowman · 04/03/2016 19:41

Is this turning into misery?

Surely there is only so long you can keep someone prisoner when their family live round the corner

Surely Henry would have said if it wasn't Helen fault. My 5yo is a right tell tale and exceedingly honest with it too.

AugustaFinkNottle · 04/03/2016 19:46

With any luck Henry will say something, though maybe Ursula told him Mummy ran the bath and Mummy said he had to get it so he'll think it's all her fault anyway.

I wish bloody Pat and Tony would remember that Ursula is supposedly the strange woman who didn't bother to turn up to a big family dinner when invited and didn't tell anyone she wasn't coming - instead of assuming she's a totally normal loving Granny in a normal relationship with her son and daughter in law.

AnnieNoMouse · 04/03/2016 19:47

I was thinking about a SL where Rob does something despicable with the plan that Helen will get blamed for it, but he actually gets found out and everyone knows he is to blame - no ambiguity at all. Possibly he sets fire to Blossom Hill Cottage (is that the name? Isn't it a wine as well?); thinks he has done it in such a way that Helen will get the blame, but witness and forensic evidence all point to him. The added bonus is that Ursula dies in the fire, no-one else is injured, and Rob gets sent away for life.

AugustaFinkNottle · 04/03/2016 19:47

"had to get in", not "had to get it".

R4 · 04/03/2016 20:07

Helen hasn't got the strength to stay awake long enough to waft a feather duster but can lift a 5 y.o. into the bath?
Henry gets scalded but there is nothing to show for it?
Pat'n'Tone really are credulous.

If it was me listening to Ursula moaning about having to do all the housework then I would be there next day in my pinny and refuse to leave. They (neither Rob nor Hell) can't refuse Hell's mum if Rob's mum is there. I would stick around for a morning, pretending to clean, and get the real lowdown.

Is Ed still working for the estate for free to pay off the rent arrears he ran up?
