We love Charlie. But we want Adam and Ian to get married. What will happen in Ambridge in the pre-Christmas thread?

Just listened to Friday - we are 2 weeks from Christmas and David didn't even ask whether Ruth will be back by then?

Even if knew about Charlie he still has the Pavel revelation to deal with.

And also that JD realises he maliciously pumoed her for info in order to stir it.

But I sysoect he'll day to H - you know how I feel about infidelity darling. You do see that I simply couldn't let ut go ahead without saying anything, don't you? After all Ian is was your friend.

And she has conveniently forgotten their affair so won't go...hang on a minute twat face....

Well I just found it all too predictable. Too plot heavy yet again. I actually don't care about knob and when anything to do with him comes on it may as well be white noise.

I can't believe Ian wouldn't have rather hidden in the toilets than have to make small talk with knob

I'm guessing tomorrow will involve a lot of angsting/arguing. Sounds like Ian knew about pawel so I guess it's the imaginings of a full blown affair that would be on his mind now

I really wasn't expecting that tonight, I thought there'd be a bit of hint-dropping from Rob but nothing so obvious. But I still think the wedding will go ahead. We can't keep having SL's where the intended event doesn't happen. Can we?

I've just had a rummage around Lowfield. Ian knew Pawel was gay - because P made a pass at him, which was stoutly rebuffed Sad - but not that Adam spent a night with him. (Sept 2012)

I turned on the radio when Knob was talking to Ian and he was doing that horrible laugh of his. I wanted to stab him through the radio.

If the solids are about to hit the fan, I'm hoping that Charlie will realise he no longer has anything to lose and tell Justin all about why Knob left, plus finding Stefan and Revealing All about the blocked culvert.

I haven't listened to the stag do episode, but that's it! I refuse to listen until there is the barest hint of rob getting what he so richly deserves. Could be a long wait Sad.

In the meantime I'm relaying on mn to keep me in the loop and give me a heads up when the time comes.

I have never felt so enraged about a fictional character in my life. I assume the scriptwriters will think that's job done.

But isn't this all a bit predictable. Just a thought.

I 'accidentally' pressed the wrong button on my phone when my dad called at 10.40 this morning. Very nearly wrecked my make up on the way to Christmas lunch listening to Joe. BOOP.

DS2 (12) remarked, 'he is NOT a nice man' about our thread favourite. I have never been prouder.

Not quite 7.6 posts a month but no longer a proper lurker Smile.

Ian didn't know. He obviously worked out there and then that picker = Pavel. It sounded like he said 'Pavel?' Although tbf everything sounds like a qyestion in Ian's accent.
But he played it just cool enough that it seemed like he was playing along with Knob. Well done Ian for nit giving Knob the satisfaction of making a scene there and then. Although I don't think he shoukd marry Adam. MN rules say its a bad idea. Adam is a liar. Ian should ltb.

Argh hadn't even thought about possible repercussions for Hellin until I caught up with the thread. He will make them both think she has betrayed them, if they don't come to that conclusion themselves. Oh ffs!

I listened to tonights thinking yes he has finally gone too far and outed himself as the nasty shite he is but he is going come out smelling of roses isn't he? Sad

I really can't decide if this wedding will happen or not, but it would seem a bit lazy having two weddings in a row that were non starters so I'm leaning towards it going ahead.

Maybe Adam and Ian will talk it all through, Ian forgives Adam but doesn't want Hellin at the wedding anymore. And so Knobs mission of cutting off her friend is completed.

I still think Kirsty is going to come to the rescue at some point. She will see through all the smoke and mirrors.

Hello, everyone, I'm delurking again because of the horror that was last night's episode.
I've always loved Ian, and he behaved beautifully! I just wanted to ask, since I have been listening only selectively, for over a year, according to what I read here and elsewhere and think might be interesting - Dipankrispaneven, why didn't Charlie ever tell Justin his suspicions of Rob? Do we think the culvert and missing (presumed dead) picker are down to Rob the Knob, as well as his having messed up the fertility cycles of the cows? (Forgive me if I have some facts wrong, as I said, have only listened rarely recently. Cracking Clarrie and Grundys episodes last week, eh what! I will miss Oliver, though! Really kind man, hunting aside!)
