Hello - back after a while and here are my thoughts!
Brookfield - what is it with all the unbelievable will they/won't they stories? We all knew they wouldn't move and we all knew Pip wouldn't stick the job (although I expected more than 24 hours). And now we have Heather looking forward to moving down when it was her reluctance to leave Prudhoe that started the whole damn debacle. And I'm not finding David true to character. And can we shoot Pip yet?
Lower Loxley - So Lily is actually 5, drawing pictures for Granny FGS. Freddie went from potential hooligan to a very good boy in the space of one episode. I always thought LL was a large manor house of the 'struggling to get by' variety but it seems to be an enormous country pile to rival Blenheim Palace - I'm starting to understand why Nigel's scream was so long
The Village - so all the village amenities are under threat - sledgehammer to crack a nut anyone?
Kenton - annoying
Aldridges - I'm liking them at the moment but if they follow the usual BBC script of 'state school kid is good enough to get into Oxbridge but can't take the strain/realises local made up uni is so much better because she can be near famerlee' I may have to stop listening. My prediction is that she has a nervous breakdown.
Jenny - she seems to have forgotten Route B/Carol the murderer. I predict route b won't go ahead and will be quietly dropped as it was just a plot device to get the brookfield archers moving
Bridge Farm Archers - I don't like the way Tom and Pat have forgotten their Rob doubts so quickly. i also don't believe Pat at the moment - she would be on to Helen and her introversion. As for Rob - well he really is a knob. i predict this will reach its climax just in time for the Xmas ratings chase.
Culvert blocking - I understood that it didn't make the flood in the village worse but caused one of the main roads into Ambridge to flood and delay the emergency services.
