Chocolate Chip cookie anyone?

OP posts:
BitOutOfPractice · 20/08/2015 13:20

I've been googling paisley tabards this morning and I can't find one anywhere. I wonder where Susan sourced theirs - I'd like one for Christmas!

ppeatfruit · 20/08/2015 14:03

They'd be somewhere like pound shops or the old hardware type places like Woolworths or BHS I suppose. BOOP I'd like one too then I'd be every inch a french housewife at Christmas!

BitOutOfPractice · 20/08/2015 14:04

I might make it my DP's mission for Christmas

Icimoi · 20/08/2015 15:55

They certainly seem to be unknown to Google. Maybe Susan ordered them specially, at vast expense?

Still, Lynda should be grateful that they didn't end up with these

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 20/08/2015 16:19

I posted the full link so you can see it's BBC and safe ppfruit. You can also right click a link to copy it or view it so no need to click directly.

It's very sensible to be wary :)

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 20/08/2015 16:22

Wow those are special Icimoi Grin

I used to get my nails done at a salon years ago where the nice lady transsexual hairdressers would wear something just like that. I'd forgotten all about them until then!

ppeatfruit · 20/08/2015 16:28

Ici whispers < ahem... it is fiction you know...> Grin

You're very kind thank you MovingOnUp

EBearhug · 20/08/2015 17:13

Don't be so ridiculous, ppeat! Fiction indeed!

Although if it's not in google, it can't exist. This is concerning.

Gruach · 20/08/2015 19:12

"What we should do?"

I will kill him again.Angry

Gruach · 20/08/2015 19:15

And David is such a bastard!

I'll never forgive him for his sneakiness.

MrsCampbellBlack · 20/08/2015 19:16

I have listened for over 20 years - in fact longer as grew up with grandparents being avid listeners. And I just hate it at the moment - I loathe Rob and just can't bear David and Ruth.

Harumph.

highkickindandy · 20/08/2015 21:01

"when Helen and I talk to him......."

sounds like Tom's not going to let Rob muscle in without a fight

DSClarke · 20/08/2015 21:27

I would be gutted if Charlie rolls over and let's Knob get away with it. Charlie is such a badass, and has no doubt dealt with much bigger shits than Knob in the past...

squeaver · 21/08/2015 08:21

The Tom and Charlie Anti-Rob Alliance. It must happen!

Gruach · 21/08/2015 08:27

I pray the SWs will give us something positive to balance the coming misery of hearing Rob take over Ambridge Organics. Infrequent polite put-downs from Tom will hardly be enough now Rob has 24 hrs every day to scheme and plot and turn Helen against her family.

Gruach · 21/08/2015 08:29

(Actually, if they're clever they may take the route of having Rob turn the rest of the family against Helen. For her own good, of course.)

enochroot · 21/08/2015 09:31

The Tom and Charlie Anti-Rob Alliance. It must happen!

How will we tell them apart?

Gruach · 21/08/2015 10:08
Grin

It will have to be a Tom and Kirstie alliance.

squeaver · 21/08/2015 10:48

enoch - they'll have lots of whispered conversations in the cricket nets with every sentence beginning "Well, Tom..." or "Yes, Charlie..."

And YES! they need to also sign up Kirstie. I wish she would come back.

Icimoi · 21/08/2015 10:59

I really wanted someone to pull up Knob when he bad-mouthed Kirsty and point out that the woman he appointed subsequently was primarily responsible for the shop's problems. I do hope that Tom will remind him of that little disaster next time he starts throwing his weight around about shop decisions.

As for his wish for a shop with glaring white walls and no "clutter" - it's going to look like every Tesco's or Sainsbury's minimart, isn't it?

I do look forward to Tom stepping up and starting some kind of Anti-Rob movement - and yes to Charlie as one of the leaders of that, surely he has seen off worse in the past?

Was I the only one baffled at the ending yesterday, when it seemed it was all agreed that Jill would move out, HP move in and all would be well, when nobody appears to have actually spoken to either of them about it?! WTF are the pair of them playing at?

ErrolTheDragon · 21/08/2015 14:53

Rob is making the mistake of thinking he's cleverer than everyone else, and he isn't, not even Tom (I suppose if he ever had a run in with Dopey Dave or Kenton he might get the better of them). Charlie and Tom both have his measure, I think.

goodelfallover · 21/08/2015 15:36

Knob wasn't happy to hear that Fallon might be involved, warned H about relying on friends or summat, or rather just having any...

goodelfallover · 21/08/2015 15:38

Oh and has the possibility of the Bull incorporating the PO and village shop been raised yet? I believe it's a thing in some rural parts.
