The Bridge Farm shop development is a good one, especially the slight hesitation from Hellin as she was obviously thinking "What's Rob going to say?"

I liked Kate trivialising the floods as a first world problem only, within seconds, to use it as an excuse for skiving off lectures. But not yoga classes, of course.

I think Bridge farm is about 1 kilometre from the centre of he village. But if they had the village shop, the post office, Ambridge Organics and then Fallon's tea room/upscale do furniture, it would be a very nice little commercial centre for the village.
They could also have the old people having a nice break once they'd got out that far, and a lot of mamils dropping in on Sunday's. Maybe they could even do a deal where food orders could be dropped to those in need with the veg box rounds.

DH is a mamil - fortunately he has also lost weight, so doesn't look too bad. The roads around here are full of them on Sunday's in summer, and certain village shops etc. do very well out of them.
