Deluged damp squid or not? And has Peggy been assisted off the mortal coil by Rob yet?
And when will JD and Brian remember Debbie?

DadDadDad's back - and I'm not going to argue!

guineapiglet · 03/04/2015 19:22

Happy Easter one and all....Easter Grin
Did anyone else feel that Jill completely ruin that beautiful Rossetti poem, she sounded like she was trying way too hard and messed it up completelyEaster Angry

Bluestocking · 03/04/2015 19:26

Too right, guineapiglet. She really ought to have removed her Love Eggs before going to church.

DadDadDad · 03/04/2015 19:41

I'm a grown up, I make my own rules. I've gone more than forty days of my self imposed exile and as I'm now on my Easter holiday, it's time to return.

My workday means I'm am irregular listener to TA, so I've missed you lot keeping me updated. I caught the flood, Kenton's rage at David, Rob's CSA doom coming closer, Bert's sad loss - and I ached to know what you were all saying...

enochroot · 03/04/2015 19:50

I like DrTwo's suggestion for the next thread title.

What an idiot Kenton is being. It's his fault they're up to their eyeballs in debt.

enochroot · 03/04/2015 19:56

It's good to have you back, DDD. I think your actuarial skills were spoken of in hushed tones vis a vis the flood damage a couple of weeks ago. ( I thought it was an attempt to flush you out if you were lurking Easter Grin)

Congratulations on holding out for so long.

DadDadDad · 03/04/2015 20:04

My actuarial knowledge doesn't extend to flood risk, I work in a totally unrelated area, so I wouldn't have been much use.

DoctorTwo · 03/04/2015 20:17

I've followed all TA threads but only posted on this one, so if my effort is included in the next title I'll be as happy as a dog with two dicks.

I think Kenton is setting himself up for a fall, his 'feud' with Deevid will end badly for him. The big eejit.

Also, rural accents around the north east tend to be a little less intelligible than Heatherpet's.

TheOneWiththeNicestSmile · 03/04/2015 21:22

The old Heatherpet had a lovely voice - only faintly Geordie & quite softly spoken. Maybe not authentic, I wouldn't know, but inoffensive.

This one's as rough as a badger's.

Bluestocking · 03/04/2015 21:51

DoctorTwo's thread title is bosting.
Heatherpet is ridiculous - I keep hoping she'll tell someone to "hadaway and shite".

Kirk1 · 03/04/2015 22:11

I listened to the last two episodes back to back. Kenton has given me the rage. Who is there that can batter some sense into the idiot? He is completely failing to take any responsibility for his own actions in this.

Surely Jolene will get to a point when she turns on him with a vengeance. I always thought she was quite level-headed. Maybe when she snaps out of her misery over the state of The Bull she'll manage more than a feeble protest.

Kirk1 · 03/04/2015 22:12

Also, another vote for Doctor Two's thread title. It's snappy ;)

enochroot · 04/04/2015 00:08

Please could we have a ferret smiley?

Icimoi · 04/04/2015 08:08

I agree, I'm all in favour of short thread titles.

DadDadDad, the thread/s covering the culmination of the Brookfield saga and the flood seemed to move very quickly. Do the facts bear that out?

Aye bluestockin' won't be long afore HP is oot on the toon ordrin' bottles of broon at the Bull and a stottie at the bar...

guineapiglet · 04/04/2015 09:09

Yares agor obviously

Bluestocking · 04/04/2015 09:41

Why aye, canny lass! She is Prudhoe's very own Mrs Doubtfire. But who is under that latex face, bosomy fatsuit and flowered pinny? My money's on the oh-so-versatile
Charles Collingwood. Has anyone ever seen Brine and HP in the same room?

PseudoBadger · 04/04/2015 09:52

I thought it must be the old CC too Bluestocking.

Merse · 04/04/2015 10:02

Anyone else find Heather Pet's voice hugely annoying? Didn't know she was 'new' Heather Pet. Either way, it's OTT and grating (Miss Tolerant, here). And agree that Jill hammed that poem up something rotten.

Merse · 04/04/2015 10:02

Oh, and welcome back DadDadDad. Mightily impressed by your self-restraint.

Merse · 04/04/2015 10:05

Sorry - should have RTFT before posting. Glad to see I am not alone in coming out in hives when Heather Pet opens her mouth. Fingernails on a blackboard stuff.

Minimammoth · 04/04/2015 10:36

Bluestocking, cue Charles C in Tommy Cooper 'get up' Brine on one half, heatherpet on t'other, delivering duel dialogue.

PseudoBadger · 04/04/2015 10:46

I'm off out for a bit so here's the new thread in case we get a rush of posts...

I don't find a problem with Heather's voice. At least I recognise her, rather than Charlie/NewTom/Adam/Kenton, where I can sometimes mix them up.
