Deluged damp squid or not? And has Peggy been assisted off the mortal coil by Rob yet?
And when will JD and Brian remember Debbie?

Oh, so the kitchen saga was inspired by Ayckbourn.

ZeroFunDame · 13/03/2015 16:54

SOC didn't understand the complaint about plot driven rather than character led stories and chasing the youth vote. He replied that they'd brought two elderly characters back from the periphery to the centre of their families - which basically ought to satisfy the grey complainers!

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 13/03/2015 16:55

He thinks a lot if himself doesn't he!

Soc doesn't understand character driven - nothing in his previous lives has shown that. He just doesn't get it and I doubt he ever will

TheOneWiththeNicestSmile · 13/03/2015 18:57

Interestingly I now want to punch SOC even more than I want to punch Clarkson

ZeroFunDame · 13/03/2015 19:00

Just heard Lilian's Red Nose joke. She has a very pretty voice.

ErrolTheDragon · 13/03/2015 19:03

I only heard the first few minutes near the start of Feedback (and missed Last Word, buggrit) - seemed to be Charlie (or was it Tom?) saying that the flood had been planned for over two years. And there were we giving them the benefit of the doubt that the deluge was responding a year late to real countryside events. Hmm

ErrolTheDragon · 13/03/2015 19:04

The best thing about Lillians joke was that I couldn't tell afterwards if she was doing her 'Lillian laugh' or braying like a wonkey! Grin Inimitable.

ZeroFunDame · 13/03/2015 19:07

She spoke in her real voice and laughed as Lilian ...

ZeroFunDame · 13/03/2015 19:12
Sad

So what happened! I'm stuck with no radio access!!!

PeaceOfWildThings · 13/03/2015 19:15

I've missed 2 weeks worth of TA (have them recorded) and everything has completely changed! Shock

GriefLeavesItsMark · 13/03/2015 19:16

Noooooo not Freda! Why couldn't it be Jill. Horrible old bag, always sounds like she is on the point of hysteria. And why the excitement over some cruddy sandwiches at the bull?

stilllearnin · 13/03/2015 19:16

And that, pip, is how it's done Sad

stilllearnin · 13/03/2015 19:17

First time in aged I've cried at the archers

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 13/03/2015 19:17

Freda had a heart attack and died. Bert is devastated. Ruth put on her little voice (the one for expressing emotions other than anger) and told him that they were going to stay in Ambridge.

The Bull's reopened upstairs and is selling microwave pizzas.

Alistair's business is suffering very badly but was on its last legs anyway.

Anything else, anyone?

PeaceOfWildThings · 13/03/2015 19:23

Grin Gasp0de, you are a W0nder!

ZeroFunDame · 13/03/2015 19:27

So - I haven't actually read any Terry Pratchett. Are the 000s significant?

TopazRocks · 13/03/2015 19:32

Oh Freda will never go 'urgh' again. Poor Bert. Sad I wonder how long Bert will last now - it's a known phenomenon, IRL, elderly men dying not long after they are widowed. It happened to my dad too.

I think JC and SOC could get involved in a 'fracas' together at the BBC and both be suspended. Then both 'socked'. If SOC is gay, as I suspect, then no way is he Motorhead's friend. Charlie and Scarface could hold the coats. There's a plan. Wink

TheOneWiththeNicestSmile · 13/03/2015 19:51

That's a jolly good plan, Topaz Grin

TheOneWiththeNicestSmile · 13/03/2015 19:53

I did just catch the last bits of Bert's sorrow tonight (not listening currently) & he made my eyes leak, poor old thing Sad

EBearhug · 13/03/2015 19:55

Bit worried about Bert, but then I realised he can move in with Carol after a decent interval.

GypsyFloss · 13/03/2015 19:58

Poor forever silent Freda. She didn't even get the doom music.

I wanted Bert to rage at stupid Ruth about how all the stress about losing their home brought on Freda's heart attack.

GypsyFloss · 13/03/2015 20:01

I loved the real Lilian. She's mentioned a teenage son ...I have a teenage daughter...we could be RL Lil and Lyndipops Grin

TopazRocks · 13/03/2015 20:01

Yes, why no doom music for Freda? I notice that too. A letter to Feedback?
