Deluged damp squid or not? And has Peggy been assisted off the mortal coil by Rob yet?
And when will JD and Brian remember Debbie?

Dopey Dave missed a trick. He should have bounced the idea right back at him and said, "Excellent idea, Kenton, I'll leave it to you to organise."
Kenton would then be too busy getting aural history to have any time left for backstabbing (assuming that he got round to it. If not, then another point to David).

EBearhug · 02/04/2015 20:19

But if he hadn't got round to it, it would have been David's fault, "Because you know I'm not good at that sort of thing, Dave. You should have chosen Jim."

LillianGish · 02/04/2015 22:26

Is there anything duller than a public meeting? And this is the second one in as many weeks. I also find Heatherpet unspeakably irritating - a pantomime northerner to go with a pantomime vegan and a pantomime villain (Hazel). I'm sure she didn't used to be as much of a caricature as that.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 02/04/2015 22:44

Kenton is such a knob

I've never liked him though - he is feckless and selfish but covers it by being a joker. I work with a few like that - they are the type who would sell their granny's kidneys of it would get them an extra shilling.

Bluestocking · 02/04/2015 23:03

I don't mean that Joe's ferrets are a one-storyline novelty - but the escaping pet is such a cliche. Joe is a very experienced ferret fancier and would surely know better than to let one escape, even if he is distracted by Sabrina Thwaite's giant dressing-up corner.
I hope he finds his way into a 1970s suit, platform boots and feather boa a la Huggy Bear next.

ZeroFunDame · 02/04/2015 23:20

Ahem

"A little sauce with your ferret Sir? And Rob's vitals on a plate for the Lady?" Ambridge has its feet well under the table at Faulty Gables. Come and report any uninsured damage here ...

Easter Grin

Yes.

JessieMcJessie · 03/04/2015 06:01

BOOP for the ferret capers and Grin errol re a coded bashing to death of a soc(k)!

I loved Ed's explanation to Roy about why he had a net - the delivery was very Martin Freeman in the Office. He's a good actor the Ed one.

Icimoi · 03/04/2015 10:38

Is it the same actress for Heatherpet, or has she just taken her teeth out?

Eastpoint · 03/04/2015 10:39

I am so pleased Heather isn't moving to Ambridge. Her voice is so annoying.

Absolutely Ebearhug If something's cooked with plenty of herbs and flavour it can be lovely and vegan food is generally much lighter and healthier than boring meat and 2 boring old veg. IMO and E Grin.

What was the name of that stand in manager they had ? he'd 've been ideal as Basil !

StillLostAtTheStation · 03/04/2015 12:57

I really liked the ferret shenanigans. Boop for all the Grundy men and Roy.

I'd have to stop listening if Heatherpet moved to Ambridge. NewPip and Ruth are on the verge of unlistenable but Heather

StillLostAtTheStation · 03/04/2015 12:57

Pet would tip me over the edge.

ZeroFunDame · 03/04/2015 14:23
Easter Sad

I didn't put "Title Suggestion" on my title suggestion ...

ragged · 03/04/2015 14:48

Is that a Ferret in the Am or just another chance for Rob to be a Knob?

Minimammoth · 03/04/2015 16:51

I completely missed the ferret episode. Heather will be home before it gets to hot cross buns at dawn, hopefully.
Lynda would make an excellent Sybil, for Fawlty Gables.
Mind a blank on new thread title.
Ferret fun, hotcross bun, will we find Robs genes?

PseudoBadger · 03/04/2015 16:57

There's a ferret loose about grey gables.

Come and play Find The Ferret with The Archers!

DadDadDad · 03/04/2015 18:04

Forty-odd days ago I gave up MN for Lent. On the TA thread at the time, I predicted that thread and two more would complete by Easter Day. Meanwhile, enochroot predicted that my will would break and I'd not keep off MN.

Well, I've not read a word of a MN post until today and now I see we are at the end of the third thread, so I think my prediction is looking good. Grin

So....

.... what have I missed? Smile

Is that a ferret in your (Gr)undies or are you just pleased to see me?

PseudoBadger · 03/04/2015 19:01

Very nice Doctor! That's a front runner (barring any stand out lines from tonight)
