She's got a whole calendar to use!

I think Tony might FOTC and Peggy will say "that's so like Tony. Always ruining a party...mutter grumble bitch just like his father"

minklundy · 14/11/2014 15:54

Sorry: bitch....just like his father.

cheminotte · 14/11/2014 15:59

So the Charles character is a young hunk? What about Rob playing him?

BringYourOwnSnowman · 14/11/2014 16:22

I don't think Charles is supposed to be young or necessarily hot!

cheminotte · 14/11/2014 16:32

So why would Roy play him then?

BringYourOwnSnowman · 14/11/2014 16:34

I was only joking!

ppeatfruit · 14/11/2014 16:47

TA on R4 ATM about Blunkett's remarks. On Feed back

cheminotte · 14/11/2014 16:50

Sorry Byos

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 14/11/2014 18:27

I think the confusion at the end of that episode arises from the SWs and producers not stopping to think about the nerdy obsessives like me those of us who listen each night rather than watching the film on Sundays. For the omnibus listeners there will be no confusion as the 'No!' 'Mooo!' 'Aargh!' scene will be followed immediately by the 'Another cup of tea, Peggy?' scene in the Bridge Farm kitchen as everyone re-groups when Otto is safely penned up again. Tony will be looking for a plaster to apply to his grazed shin, Helen will be hyperventilating in the corner and Henry will have decided that maybe it might have been better to accept Johnnie's kind offer of an indefinite period in front of the TV.

BringYourOwnSnowman · 14/11/2014 18:36

Or they will go down the 'lets explain in minute detail to at exactly what happened?

BringYourOwnSnowman · 14/11/2014 18:37

To pat that should say

unitarian · 14/11/2014 18:39

I listened again and now think it is Johnnie who is hurt.

BasketzatDawn · 14/11/2014 18:43

Blimey, I go web-free for a day and you fill 7 pages, almost. Lovely new thread though - thanks, Pseudo. Smile I was on trains yesterday at 2pm and again at 7pm. I'm thinking of asking Scotrail to sort their scheduling to accommodate TA listeners. There was even a tunnel at 14.11 or thereabouts. Frustrating - but there's always Sunday.....

I read the synopsis before I heard the episode - silly mistake as now I know who got squished. And it's ALL RichJohn's fault bc he should have stayed in to watch TV in the warm with his sick cousin. I agree with others - my DC when sick were usually much less demanding and slept a lot. What is wrong with that boy?! I blame the mother.

Peggy is extra-grumpy due to leg pain. She will have a broken bone. I've heard of a few RL people recently with fractures who have been semi-mobile before dx. Why does she flounce from her party though? Is it bc she realises she's always hated cats? or one of the ones in the calendar reminds her of Bill - or was it Ben? All RJ's fault anyway. Obvs. And how do you flounce if you have a bad leg? I have a bad leg and I can't flounce.

BasketzatDawn · 14/11/2014 18:46

Mimsy makes a valid point about continuity. Smile

BringYourOwnSnowman · 14/11/2014 18:48

Can you flounce very very slowly? Which then makes the flounce excruciatingly embarrassing as everyone waits for the flouncer to finish the flounce?

BringYourOwnSnowman · 14/11/2014 18:50

I can't get myself excited enough to listen tonight. If dh comes down at 7 (he's doing bedtime) I will chat to him. Of he comes down later I might put the radio on. Makes me feel sad that I can't be bothered anymore

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 14/11/2014 18:51

Thank you Pseudo. Thanks

I also fear that Tony might have groaned his last. Hope I'm wrong. Although it would be a good reason for Tom to return without the necessity for too many awkward explanations.

minklundy · 14/11/2014 19:00

So ca says peggy leaves early- box, ambulance or flounce?

BringYourOwnSnowman · 14/11/2014 19:03

Sounds like ed is the hero

TheOneWiththeNicestSmile · 14/11/2014 19:04

Just heard the start (accidentally)

groan snort MOVE!

switched off

GypsyFloss · 14/11/2014 19:05

Wow

BasketzatDawn · 14/11/2014 19:07

You ARE listening then, BYOS. Grin I suspect Marcel will not wait for Peggy. Sad And Pat will have to leave her course early. Sad I hope Tony doesn't have another heart attack.

unitarian · 14/11/2014 19:08

Is peggy going to say something ice to Tony at last?

BringYourOwnSnowman · 14/11/2014 19:09

Sounds like tony was the hero actually

Why did they get the doctors speaking though? Seemed unnecessary. Is it a casualty crossover? Kind of weird having the medical diagnosis etc in the helicopter.

Not sure I can bear them killing tony off. Seems totally unnecessary!!!

unitarian · 14/11/2014 19:09

'Nice' even.

It is sounding like Casualty.
