She's got a whole calendar to use!

Evil Henry cast his malign influence on the cattle, via his mother's car, causing the squishing of RichJohn the usurper.

LillianGish · 13/11/2014 19:21

Someone was definitely groaning - I thought it was Tony. Too soon to listen again.

BringYourOwnSnowman · 13/11/2014 19:24

Henry was behaving like a brat - mine are lovely when they are sick because they just want cuddles and to watch tv. Not make rude demands. So not impressed with that.

I prefer the bridge farm drama to the Brookfield nonsense but I don't think this episode was very well written which is a shame. It was only the last minute that had me feeling edge of my seat. The rest of the time i was just hoping they would hurry up because it was pretty obvious there would be a cliffhanger.

Rob needs his il's to babysit devil child but this is a great opportunity to declare them unfit and create a wedge. What a dilemma

BringYourOwnSnowman · 13/11/2014 19:26

And poor Peggy is going to miss her hair appointment now

Was it Helen's car that spooked the cows?

OddFodd · 13/11/2014 19:27

That's what I thought Something. I'd forgotten Ed was there to my shame Blush

Please don't let it be Ed - I can't bear Emmur being any more moany than she already is

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 13/11/2014 19:29

The Continuity Announcer said 'Ed to the rescue tomorrow' so I don't think Ed is squished.

minklundy · 13/11/2014 19:29

I heard that as bull trampled Ed and Henry is now standing in the bull's path.

Knowing current SW they will have forgotten all about it for next episode and then it will vaguely get mentioned in shop next week.Hmm

Grin minklundy

SomethingFunny · 13/11/2014 19:35

Oh yes, I'd forgotten what the announcer said. Maybe it was a red herring?

I think it was very unfair of Helen to dump Henry on Tony at the last minute when he is working just so she can drive to the hairdressers, even if it was for her grandma.

I also think it was very unfair of Tony to then dump Henry on his 17 year old cousin. If Tony couldn't look after Henry, he should have just said no to Helen, not promised to do it and then left him with someone else.

I am imagining Helen's AIBU post...

Eastpoint · 13/11/2014 19:48

I only caught the end - Peggy fussing & Helen trying to reassure her. Will it all be Helen's fault now?

WipsGlitter · 13/11/2014 19:50

Yes. Rob will definitely use it to punish Helen.

BringYourOwnSnowman · 13/11/2014 19:51

Damn right it's Helen's fault! Poor Peggy isn't gettibg her haircut now and she never wanted to go to bridge farm anyway!

At least they have johnnys brand new first aid box to help out whoever was bellowing

Icimoi · 13/11/2014 20:08

I thought it was Tony moaning at the end, but who knows.

I reckon Helen got out of the car too quickly due to Piggoi fussing at her and spooked the cattle. But she'll undoubtedly blame Johnny.

Pat is going to be seriously pissed off if all her cooking goes to waste, isn't she?

unitarian · 13/11/2014 20:15

I thought it was Tony too.
It seemed like the devil-child pulled loose from Johnnie and ran across the yard when he saw his mother arriving.

Thanks for the new thread!

unitarian · 13/11/2014 20:17

What are the chances of Tom arriving for a birthday surprise, finds the family in complete disarray and thinks they can't manage without him?

BoreOfWhabylon · 13/11/2014 20:18

I guess the party's off then.

Jennydarlng will be pleased.

BringYourOwnSnowman · 13/11/2014 20:19

Yes. So all Helen's fault. And im sure rob will let her know

Henry is protected by evil so he will be ok

BoreOfWhabylon · 13/11/2014 20:21

And another thing...

Why was Hellin raiding the new first aid box on the farm for an elastic bandage she could have bought in Boots?

Is the farm first aid box not supposed to be for, like, accidents? On the farm?

BringYourOwnSnowman · 13/11/2014 20:27

Because she saw no harm in stressing an old lady out?

And it was in the script so she had to - even though it made no sense

TallGiraffes · 13/11/2014 20:28

It was a bit like a casualty episode wasn't it? Cows on the move, car driving, small child, who's going to come a cropper?!

unitarian · 13/11/2014 20:30

Tony should have said no to Helen but he never could, could he. She was about to throw a flounce until he said yes.

BringYourOwnSnowman · 13/11/2014 20:30

Yes tall! You are so right!!!

BiscuitMillionaire · 13/11/2014 20:53

Continuity didn't say Ed to the rescue, he said Ed does the right thing (IIRC).

What is the right thing? Stake through the heart of the demon child?

ErrolTheDragon · 13/11/2014 20:54

I expect Peggy will blame Johnnie and spurn his thoughtful cat calendar. Poor lad - he definitely told Henry to hold his hand when they were about to go outside.
