I love the bits between Rob and Helen, agree he will take over the farm and there will be a huge showdown with NewTom. He sounded so furious with her when she left the hunt.

It's just another story thread they're weaving in but it's all too much.

I listen to the archers because it always helped with my anxiety! Not anymore as there is too much going on!!!!

Wips That would be brilliant. Instant revenge for Rob not having told her about Ethan. But I fear it won't be so - Helen surely would not have wanted to make life miserable for Oliver and co.

Rob has become such a villain in my mind (partly down to discussions like), that I start suspecting him of everything as if he is some arch-manipulist (like Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes?):

• Who alerted the local press to the story of Tony's mauling?
• Who persuaded a fox to appear where the hunt was due to pass?
• Who contacted the police about the fox?

We were chatting in work yesterday about the hunt crossing a colleague's land in pursuit of a fox that the hounds got got the scent of and chased instead of their normal trail. Perhaps it is just a just a co-incidence but it reminded Helen why she had previously abhorred it.

I'm not quite out yet as an Archers listener. I've grown to love it, but rarely catch it - only about once or twice a week, and even then it's usually only for the last 5 mins of the episode

Grandad Tony has not died. He's in hospital. He and his wife Pat had a son John who was killed in an accident many years ago. They now have his long lost son Johnny, who they are only just getting to know, living with them. He was the one involved in the bull incident.
