TA is in a purple patch at the moment, rewarding listeners for wading through the dross of the previous year few months. Welcome all!

Thanks for the synopsis GypsyFloss
Home now and can listen at my leisure!

GypsyFloss · 18/02/2014 18:46

:)

I like " Sleeping with the enemy" ...in a brand new bed.

ComposHat · 18/02/2014 18:58

Or tp reflect thw dact it is lambing season 'Sheeping with the enemy'

Selks · 18/02/2014 19:03

Oh how did I miss Henry drawing a pic of poor old 'lonely cow'. Lovely detail.

Selks · 18/02/2014 19:07

Hmm topical flood-related insert there. Wondered when TA was going to catch up with it.

PseudoBadger · 18/02/2014 19:08

I like that Gypsy!

FFS Hellin!! "I've even made my own tagliatelle" Angry

ComposHat · 18/02/2014 19:09

Pasta eh?

Rob needs the carbs to keep his strength up?

CuttedUpPear · 18/02/2014 19:09

That's pasta puttansesca that Helen just described to Rob.

'Whore's pasta' in translation Wink

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 18/02/2014 19:11

This is too much! Make him stop!

ComposHat · 18/02/2014 19:12

EA ago go

Selks · 18/02/2014 19:12

Excruciating, isn't it Zero? Grin

nauticant · 18/02/2014 19:14

Imagine what would have happened if Helen had served soup!

CuttedUpPear · 18/02/2014 19:15

Can you make cheese out of tuna?

TemperamentalAroundCorvids · 18/02/2014 19:18

Oh yes, pasta puttanesca - I knew that but didn't realise at the time. V nice touch!

Why do I feel I should be offering my lawns to a sheep from the floodlands?

GypsyFloss · 18/02/2014 19:33

I was cringeing listening to Rob and Helen. One more controlling step. If the writers ( and I'm looking at you Keri) turn this into a happy and normal relationship I shall be very miffed.

And then even more so listening to bloody Ruth emoting loudly about the flooded sheep. Argghhhhhh. The only good bit was how happy Tony sounded.

OddFodd · 18/02/2014 19:34

The topical inserts felt too late but I was a bit alarmed by the whole Kenton/Jolene stress. They are doing this as counterpoint aren't they? I shall be really cross otherwise. And yy to Sheeping with the Enemy

GypsyFloss · 18/02/2014 19:35

Composhat love "Sheeping with the enemy"

Bluestocking · 18/02/2014 19:36

Puttanesca doesn't have tuna in it. It can have anchovies, which are much more likely to make a person go "bleurgh" than tuna!
Rob the Knob is a real piece of work, isn't he? Pretty soon, Helen won't know whether she's coming or going. If you'll pardon the expression.

HumphreyCobbler · 18/02/2014 19:39

arf at Sheeping with the enemy

bugger I forgot to listen.

TemperamentalAroundCorvids · 18/02/2014 19:50

Technically you're right blue - but I still think it's what the SWs had in mind, what with the olives and capers. Tuna is sometimes substituted for anchovies in salad nicoise (and for some people that makes it no longer a nicoise I think). ((or does a nicoise have both?))

I have known folk who went bleugh at tuna.

PseudoBadger · 18/02/2014 19:55

Nicoise has both. I can't wait to listen!

Bluestocking · 18/02/2014 19:55

You're right, Temperamental (or shall I call you Corvids?) - I was just enjoying a bit of pedantic arsehattery!
I loved the Knobber's drama-queen "bleaurgh! bleaurgh!!" when he came into the kitchen. He'd been practising that since Hellin told him what she'd cooked, hadn't he?

NorthernLurker · 18/02/2014 20:02

Tonight's episode made me feel sick - and not because of the tuna. She'd cooked and was all pleased with herself so of course he had to knock her down to size. Awful - because there are women really living that.

OldBeanbagz · 18/02/2014 20:06

I really don't like Helen but even i was screaming "Grab Henry and get out of there now!" at the radio.

I get the feeling it's going to get nasty!
