Jane nest plus Nappyadict. I had a quinny one years ago that was showerprof too

basl · 13/01/2010 10:03

Oh that sounds like a plan . The catalougues do seem quite happy to allow returns so why not have a little play.

basl · 13/01/2010 10:04

nappy i have a jane nest plus and they are lovley. Very cosy and padded.

FlyMeToDunoon · 13/01/2010 10:11

BJCC is out for delivery! Hope it gets through the snow.
Maxy I promise to let you know how I get on with it and it's your's if I decide to pass it on.
DD walks so much now it may not get much use but she was miserable walking to nursery in the cold. I think she feels the cold like DD1.

maxybrown · 13/01/2010 10:19

Ah thanks Dunoon Even if eventually you wouldn't use it much, bet you would atm anyway! If I had opportunity to hop in one at the minute I would

lillypie · 13/01/2010 10:20

nicola, fishfinger sarnie sounds yum, so im off to make some for me and ds

maxybrown · 13/01/2010 12:22

ooh I love fishfinger sarnies!

Didn't go to Mum's as started snowing really heavily. It hasn't stopped but it very blustery and not even sure if there's rain with it. My poor Mum went flying again this morning she said. Just no grit anywhere

nappyaddict · 13/01/2010 12:31

Bugglesnuggle have a sale on so will see if I can get a waterproof one there. It won't do for much longer but not too bad if in sale and good resale value.

No good for us but may be a bargain for someone else? Jo Jo one on ebay

nicolamumof3 · 13/01/2010 12:48

what about the pupabag waterproof ones nappy? they are much longer?

oooh my quest is 'out for delivery' lets hope it makes it today!! i need a new pram to cheer me up lol!

carrielou2007 · 13/01/2010 13:53

My bee is not here due to the weather. I rang to say where is the depot I'll go and collect it but they have 2 depots and still waiting for them to ring me back as to which one and I can't find a direct number online. Another ten mins and I won't have time to get there and back before I need to get dd from playgroup

Stopped snowing and has rained so going slushy

nicolamumof3 · 13/01/2010 13:59

hows dd getting on a playgroup?

carrielou2007 · 13/01/2010 14:08

She LOVES it!! I was hoping it would tire her out a bit more and would go to bed earlier but we are in the car at the mo rather than walking - that may do the trick!!

maxybrown · 13/01/2010 14:16

Do you know, I just read that as you being in the car RIGHT NOW.......lol

nappyaddict · 13/01/2010 14:16

I like the pupabag ones andthis buggysnuggle one but this is in the sale.

nicolamumof3 · 13/01/2010 14:21

i didn't like my waterproof bs i doubted it would be waterproof as was just like cotton strange.

nappyaddict · 13/01/2010 14:26

Did it work though?

I have seen them on Stay Put and foralibaby on ebay for about £35-£40

maxybrown · 13/01/2010 14:27

Why not email them and ask if they have taped seams on the WP BS? If not then it will only be showerproof.

nicolamumof3 · 13/01/2010 14:31

i never used it as i didn't like it!! sold it straight away.

my nipper one i like it sort of sheds the rain off. DS hates raincovers he'll only ask for it if rain is torrential!

maxybrown · 13/01/2010 14:38

I know, I meant NA

I don't gove DS a choice, he goes beserk too, then I walk really quickly or threaten to leave him behind, then he just whimpers The Nipper one doesn't budge once on so good lol!

nicolamumof3 · 13/01/2010 14:40

NA asked me if it was w/proof!!

Well if he gets wet its up to him!! he soon says 'cover on' when he doesn't like it. and light rain is fine if they've got coat/footmuff on

maxybrown · 13/01/2010 14:48

I know very confused now

I don't like my footmuffs getting wet though so that's why he has no choice. plus ging to mums takes an hour half to 2 hours hours so a long time for my footmuff to be sat wet. I HATE mac raincovers though so don't blame him when he mans about that one as they are so bllomin tight against their knees.

maxybrown · 13/01/2010 14:49

sorry for SP mistakes

maxybrown · 13/01/2010 15:04

Oh and if my DS said cover on, I would pass out there and then actually even if he just said on, would do!! I don't think he will ever talk. I can still see us being like this when he 15

I know i am just waffling to myself now.......da de dah......
