Oh my frigging god I absolutely DID NOT MEAN TO POST 'gay' as an expletive!

I typed Gah!

Blush

This is because I hit you isn't it iPad?

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 15/12/2011 10:01

Lol you are classic! IPads do have minds of their own! I love your posts!
I can't believe you got a buggy and quite like it!!!

BrassMonkeyBaubles · 15/12/2011 10:42

Friggypudding! What are you like! Lolololol
I liked the ziko frankie when I saw it in the mamas and papas shop....ESP the mushy pea one is it lovely to push? I hope it was on offer....it was excellent value for money. I like how you made a happy ending to forgetting the vista.
Sorry your mum wouldn't go back and get it....did you not suggest she could piggyback your ds while you carried the shopping bags....

I desperately want to order an Easywalker in olive! I have my heart set on it. I don't know whether to get the qtro or sky....

suzie38 · 15/12/2011 10:47

Well i'm not a fan of 3 wheelers so it'd have to be the Qtro for me.

aswellasyou · 15/12/2011 10:51

I'd go for the Qttro too, but I also don't like 3 wheelers! Xmas Grin

Frigg, hilarious! You had to get a new pushchair didn't you? It wasn't your fault. Xmas Wink The Frankie is lovely, but watch the brakes. Saoirse's brake was a bit broken when she got it, and then she broke it a bit more. Xmas Hmm I think it's a bit flimsy, especially considering how nice the rest of it seems. I love the chrome at the front.

aswellasyou · 15/12/2011 10:52

I mean the brake's flimsy. Not the rest of it. I don't think I'm making sense. I need a Brew.

saoirse86 · 15/12/2011 10:55

You can post a photo aswell!

I like the look of the Qtro over the Sky too.

I did like the Frankie but I think mine had been abused beforehand, and I didn't like the freedom harness it had on the old versions.

saoirse86 · 15/12/2011 10:58

Did you get an outfit for Imara's Christmas party aswell?

aswellasyou · 15/12/2011 10:59

I think it's on my profile now. I think they do actually look like twins in that photo.

aswellasyou · 15/12/2011 11:00

Have they not got freedom harnesses now? I don't like freedom harnesses either.

Yes, she's wearing the one your daughter wore last Christmas and it's still too big!! Xmas GrinXmas Grin

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 15/12/2011 11:04

THe deciding factor for me re the Sky or Qtro would be if the sun visor on the Sky doesn't fix into the hood like the Qtro does. I had the Duo and every time I opened the hood the visor flopped down and it drove me nutty. The Qtro has toggles to hold the sun visor up in the hood. I dont know how you would find that information out though. But like everyone else I prefer the stability of four wheels.

OP posts:
saoirse86 · 15/12/2011 11:04

They did look like twins! I couldn't see it at all at the time. You should put a picture of them now to show how they really don't look like twins anymore!

I'm sure I read there's no freedom harness now on the Frankie.

saoirse86 · 15/12/2011 11:11

Look at this bargain BJCMD! I wish I had a reason to buy it (and the money)! Xmas Sad

FriggFRIGGYPudding · 15/12/2011 11:14

Awhhhh they're soo cute!
I also think your DC look v similar tiggy,I think it's the hair, esp in the more recent pics....

Mine look very different DD has dark blonde/mousey brown hair, straight on top with ringlets underneath and dark brown eyes,
DS has light blonde hair with tight curls all over and bright blue eyes...
me and DP have dark brown hair,my eyes are brown and his are green....
my children are genetic improbables Grin

YY I had to buy a new buggy,I had no choose!
It's okay to push, for a buggy, the handle height is good it folds well and has a carry handle (i like a logical place to pick it up) and DS was very comfy,he slept in it for 3hours!!
I like the chrome too, that was why I got it really, ubove the other plasticky ones because my mum put her foot down when I suggested the urbo

FriggFRIGGYPudding · 15/12/2011 11:17

Oh I'm not sure if it's a freedom harness, but it certainly has VERY long straps! Even on the shortest setting they were to big for Ds really...

aswellasyou · 15/12/2011 11:18

I can't find any current photos. I was looking for the photos your SIL3 took, but I forgot she deleted her Facebook account.

saoirse86 · 15/12/2011 11:19

Ooh I would've loved you to get an urbo and then sell to me for cheap in 3 weeks when you got bored of it! Xmas Wink

aswellasyou · 15/12/2011 11:21

Freedom harnesses are the ones only attached at the hips and crotch. i.e. the shoulder straps aren't attached to the seat back.
Xmas Grin at you suggesting the Urbo! Cheeky!

BrassMonkeyBaubles · 15/12/2011 11:23

I prefer the qtro but worry the front wheels could get clogged in mud. Are the qtro wheels alu or plastic BTW? Not that it makes much difference to performance. Just can't tell from pics.
Toca boca launched their new kitchen iPad app today. It's brilliant!

aswellasyou · 15/12/2011 11:24

Oh my God!!! Mima are making a 'new elegant pushchair range'!! Xmas Grin I hope they're as good as the current ones, but cheaper. Xmas Wink

suzie38 · 15/12/2011 11:27

Probably those leather ones.

suzie38 · 15/12/2011 11:28

Tiggy any idea how wide the Qtro is folded without the wheels on??? It's pretty wide at 65cm so means i couldn't get it through the PO doorway, which i frequent quite a lot!!!

aswellasyou · 15/12/2011 11:28

Oh no! I hope that's not all it is. I thought it sounded like something completely new. Xmas Sad

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 15/12/2011 11:39

I am pretty certain they are metal wheels. I am sure I would have noticed plastic ones!! I will look when I go downstairs next.

A Mima with a slimmer seat would be fabulous. I love the Kobi / Xari seats but they filled my boot amd took up room in the house. The chassis is gorgeous though.

I am a huge fan of Pacapods - they are just so incredibly practical for anythung and everything. But they have 25% off today which is a good chunk. The code is XMAS11 To be honest we just use the Pods - which you can buy separately. But we have toy, feeding and changing ones x 2 - we don't need all those now the children are older and generally just use one of each now on a day trip.

OP posts:
suzie38 · 15/12/2011 11:42

But the Mima's need a seat that's 2" deeper as well with a slightly longer legrest.
