Ive unpacked it, set it up. It's extremely well made and sturdy. The outer box says maximum weight limit 20 kg...but the instruction booklet says 15kg.
I sat my 7 y old in it. It did not flinch. She weighs about 24 kg so not really heavy anyway.
Unsurprisingly her head was above the backrest and her legs way too long. The seat is roomy enough for a child wearing a thick arctic snowsuit!
At first I was worried the seat was too reclined...until I discovered the sit up straps. The snuggle bag outer is thick nylon cordura. The inner is good quality fleece. Ds only just fits in it as he's 3y. However it was only £20, and makes a perfectly tailored seat liner.
The wheels fit into the frame nicely without doing that thing I hate! They have nice ball bearings as does the swivel wheel mechanism.
I like the fold. It's straight forward.
The basket is bigger than that on the summit.
It feels properly off road capable. Ive yet to test it...it's raining and the kids aren't wanting to go out.
Tiggy sorry to hear your boy is unwell. Hope he is better soon.

Monkey, it sounds lovely! Suzie, have you seen www.ebay.co.uk/itm/jane-solo-reverse-pushchair-/150721228279?pt=UK_Baby_BabyTravel_Pushchairs_GL&hash=item2317af6df7#ht_500wt_922this? I think you said you were going to look out for one. Twinkle, I hope he feels better soon. Hello and welcome Sparkly. I don't know if any of us would have been regulars here two years ago-I wasn't anyway.

aswellasyou · 19/12/2011 14:35

this

aswellasyou · 19/12/2011 14:37

Oh my god! Stupid iPad! this

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 19/12/2011 16:50

Glad you like the Rpeasywalker, Monkeys. I do like them a lot. They just feel good and sturdy.
Aswellas - I am glad it's not just my iPad with a mind of it's own!
Hi Sparkly. I was around 2 years ago, but not on here.
DS has bronchiolitis (believe me my iPad didn't like that word!). Apparently we are in for 6 bad nights and then he will get better....hmm...that's just shy of Christmas. Fingers crossed he doesn't get really bad - he's got a low immune system anyway :(

Thanks aswell i've got that one being watched...Do i really need one??? Glad to hear Monkeys that the Easywalker seems really well made...Tiggy hope your DS gets better really quickly.

BrassMonkeyBaubles · 19/12/2011 20:15

Bronchitis doesn't sound good. Even with antibiotics it'll be a week before he's feeling better. :(
I am hoping to take the Easywalker out for a run tomorrow. In the house with the limitations that has its hard to feel but it certainly seems to have very slick wheels and swivel mechanism for the front wheel. Important attributes towards good manoeuvrability and a light push.

misdee · 19/12/2011 20:39

poor ds tiggy. dd2 had bronchiolitis when she was a baby snd it was awful

dino jive arrived, but not used it yet, as my ds is getting over slapped cheek and another virus, which has wiped out the family for a week now. am hoping everyone is well by xmas morning.

almost bought an icandy apple on ebay earlier that was listed for £99 BIN, but decided onot to, as hated it when i had one for dd4. great storage basket but heavey on the steering which was a shame.

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 19/12/2011 21:33

I hope your children are better soon Misdee. I just want my two better soon. There's nothing they can do for DS :( They said he would get worse before he gets better.

I hope you enjoy the Sky Monkeys :) Let us know how you get on.

BrassMonkeyBaubles · 20/12/2011 11:17

Hello, all quiet here! Just thinking of you and your little boy Tiggy. Hope he is feeling better soon. X
Just ordered a brown cow fur buggy snuggle for our Olive Easywalker Sky...last day of their free hat promo also they're doing free post for xmas. FRHAT is the code at checkout. Put the buggy snuggle in the basket first then put the code at checkout and it takes you to the hats page to choose your free one.

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 20/12/2011 12:59

I like Buggysnuggles but two fur ones doesn't half add to the weight of the pushchair!!
DS was worse last night and is currently asleep on my arm.
Tesco delivered our Christmas food earlier :) How exciting!
We are into the 20's today too :o Just four more sleeps until we hang our stockings up Xmas Grin

TruthSweet · 20/12/2011 21:38

Sorry everyone's loved ones are having chest problems - hope they all get better in time for Christmas.

I saw a Hauck Roadster Duo yesterday with a Primo Viaggio in one of the seats (forward facing rather than parent facing) with it held in by the footrest.....

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 20/12/2011 22:53

anyone know what the britax b-mobile 4 is like, are they any good, found a new one for £59. [red and black in colour if that makes a difference]

aswellasyou · 20/12/2011 23:14

I have one. I really like it except that it's fairly wide. It pushes very nicely for a stroller with hard wheels. The seat's quite spacious, but doesn't have a footrest. The basket's big and accessible from all angles. The hood's a bit short unfortunately. I have the 2011 version, but previous versions weren't very good in a couple ways. I can only remember reading that the brake was a nightmare, but it's really easy on mine.

Monkey and Tiggy, I'm sorry to hear about your Mum/son. Bronchiolitis is really horrible.

aswellasyou · 20/12/2011 23:16

Truth, I can't believe people do things like that. Imagine if it tipped going down a kerb!

suzie38 · 21/12/2011 08:29

Why oh why can't i stop looking at pushchairs!!! I'm back looking at the Jane Rider...It fold very small for a full sized pushchair...16cm shorter than my Go, 10cm less deeper than the Go, width is the same though don't know it with the wheels taken off...I always take the Go's off in the car...And the Joolz bag should fit as frame shape is very similar to the Day...Folds with seat in both directions...Bumper bar is gate type...Had nice padded cushion to help keep the main seat clean...There is a pink with black frame but would have to buy the rain cover seperately though...Only thing i don't like is there's no footrest but the leg rest is adjustable...My nearest pram shop sells Jane's and the Rider is on their website so think i'll have to go check it out!!!

aswellasyou · 21/12/2011 09:51

I keep looking at the Jane Rider and Mutsy 4 Rider Light. They both have good reviews. I like everything about the Jane except the wheels and everything about the Mutsy except the width and folded size are a little bit big.

suzie38 · 21/12/2011 10:14

I like the wheels myself...The only other possible negative is the basket as it doesn't look very big whereas my Go has a very decent sized baskets...But you can fold the Rider and i think everything stays in the basket though my Go does that as well.

aswellasyou · 21/12/2011 10:22

But you could just use something else when you need a big basket. Or put a stiff bag in it that can sit upright in the basket. I'm hoping the suspension will compensate for the hard wheels.
