Okaaaaay, new thread, new addictions, newly hammered bank accounts abound.

Don't know yet.

suzie38 · 29/09/2011 21:32

But purple would be nice Smile

suzie38 · 29/09/2011 21:33

She saw it on Preloved but for some reason couldn't reply through there...Mind you one reason for getting rid of it was to cut down my collection!!! Last time i swapped, it was my all black Wayfarer Lite for a crap Pop!!!

pramsgalore · 29/09/2011 21:46

it won't be purple thats the new one, they are going on ebay if you will post it for around 300 - 400 and sometimes less, different colours seem to sell better. i would really hold out and wait

Tiggywunkle · 29/09/2011 21:47

Lol re downsizing! I read today the purple B-Duals are going! My rumble seat will be sent this weekend along with the Valco wheel so that I can sell it on :) hurrah for lovely US retailers. I took the Qtro out today and I really like it. The harness is a tad too large though but it drives nicely. The sun visor was useful today even though I am not a fan of them, they are functional. Loads of storage space and looks great.

pramsgalore · 29/09/2011 23:54

there was one before mine, there is the one i had 2009 [mine had white clips and levers], then after that the one that will take the buggy board, then the evo.

MonkeysPunk · 30/09/2011 15:17

Going to local theme park tomorrow. Bit of a dilemma....whether to take the vista or senzz. Will prob take the Vista as its basket is large enough for a picnic in the basket, and Ds can face me for nap time, and also the POP out sun visor and breezy panel will be invaluable. However the senzz is pretty comfy. Very space saving for the boot, and has a really summery feel, with the way you can set the canopy for full ventilation. Also Ds can more easily hop in and out himself as the seat is not so high up....

suzie38 · 30/09/2011 16:07

Hi it's a bout a year old it's in good condition there is a few scratches to the frame from getting in out car but it's not too bad I do have 2 seat units one is the newer one and 2 carry cots one is the newer that's 2 months old there is 1 red set cover for seat other red set I covers in muti colour a blue set I have orange carrycot and pink 1 orange and 2 red bags orange sleeper bag 1 blue cost toes 1 forest cosytoes and hood and bottle holder 1 red cosytoes 1 orange forest style hood rain covers 1 red cover 2 plain plastic there all in good condition

prams or anyone else, can you tell from this whether the lady has a v3 model...I'm guessing that she has but obviously can't be 100% as i've never took much interest in them before...I know the v3 and Evo are the only ones that take the buggy board??? And i know from an eBay listing what serial numbers onwards take the board so i've asked her for the number so i guess that'll confirm the version...If it's v3 then i guess moneywise it's on par with my Orbit.

suzie38 · 30/09/2011 16:11

MP If he's likely to be out of the pushchair a lot then i'd plump for the Senzz but at attractions like that my DD gets all silly and babyish so ends up spending lots of time in the pushchair so i then end up taking a beast like the Donkey...If you're taling lots of food, then the Vista might be your best bet plus if he's definetly going to sleep there, then the sunshades will be great in this heat!!! My DD won't sleep so we have to leave around 3pm time so she can nap in the car on the way home, which i like as it means no moaning and complaining, though since we used a portable DVD travelling is a dream!!!

pramsgalore · 30/09/2011 16:19

no, because the new seat would have fitted mine and mine was not a v3, has she sent you any pics but like you say, if you check the serial numbers, but when you see it, you will be able to see where the buggy board slots into on the inside of the back wheels, but yes not a bad package and selling everything on their own should bring a good price, but ask her about the warrenty as second hand owners can claim under it and it is for 3 years, so worth having

pramsgalore · 30/09/2011 16:22

lol suzie, we have a portable dvd twin screen for ours in the car, its fab and was only about £80, i recommend them to anyone with dc's

pramsgalore · 30/09/2011 16:36

look at this right at the end she shows you about the buggyboard clips, i think the v3 is the evo

the only difference between mine and the one between mine and the evo was it would take a buggy board. so if it don't take the board its alot older then 1 year.
Tiggywunkle · 30/09/2011 16:40

Our DVD players are fab too! DC used to hate the dark when driving plus grumble after an hour. So they just get us through our average horsed a half drive...or longer! She rarely has TV so it's a huge treat. But she wasn't impressed the other day when she had a mini fit over a choice of DVD and we put it on for the baby instead whilst she had something else. She wanted the baby's one really!!!

TruthSweet · 30/09/2011 16:42

Any one want a frog for £30? See here

TruthSweet · 30/09/2011 16:52

That's not me by the way. I just thought it any one was in the West Sussex/Surrey area they might get a bargain!

suzie38 · 30/09/2011 17:02

Thanks for the video link...So that one is not the Evo which i think was indroduced this year??? The video one is what i think is v3???

suzie38 · 30/09/2011 17:06

Easy to tell as the 2 newer versions have that white circle on the side of the seat...On eBay there are v3 and evo's for sale.

suzie38 · 30/09/2011 17:11

I know someone who bought a Frog for £5 from a car boot sale...Now that was a bargain!!!

TruthSweet · 30/09/2011 17:15

£5 that is amazing. I guess someone got a bit of profit on resale!

pramsgalore · 30/09/2011 17:15

thats an evo with the white circle on side of seat and red brake, the one next to it is the one before it, infact it looks like the one i had, as far as i was aware the only difference is the one inbetween mine and the evo is it would take the buggy board, they only really changed the look when the evo came out.

pramsgalore · 30/09/2011 17:17

get a pic off her

pramsgalore · 30/09/2011 17:36

this is an evo

this one is like the one i had and will not take buggy board look at back wheels inside

if it will take a board it will also have a small metal strip on the white strip at the back of the chassis this says stokke on it.

from what i can gather an old one will have grey clips for adjusting seat, leg rest etc, mine had white and was a 2009 pre buggy board one, the one after mine looked the same as mine but the back wheels were changed to take the buggy board and then the evo Smile

pramsgalore · 30/09/2011 17:41

if you got a pic, i may be able to tell you straight away, pic of back wheels inside and the back and side view of chassis, seats both type

thisisyesterday · 30/09/2011 17:49
