GUYS! cant you see im panicking HERE!!!!
LOOK JUST LOOK AT THE SPELLING!!! ^

do you think the colour will sell on okay??its my only choice!

Tiggywunkle · 19/08/2011 20:14

Hmm...It's a 2011 colour but the description appears to be for the Elite ie the storage pockets and more padded seats and 12 inch wheels....you can always ask them to fund out. It does say 2011 on a sticker on the side of the box - I think it's a small silver one. I would think by now that all UK stock should now be 2011s. I think any colour will sell...

Tiggywunkle · 19/08/2011 20:16

Just buy it (I have just walked in cycling from the beach BTW lest you think I was ignoring you)!!

FriggFRIGG · 19/08/2011 20:16

thanks!

Tiggywunkle · 19/08/2011 20:28

I am pretty sure it's 2011 because of the price - their old BJCMs have been a mere £99!!! All gone now though :( When you come to resell state it's a 2011, plus mention the lifetime warranty on everything except fabrics (read the booklet first before quoting me!).

FriggFRIGG · 19/08/2011 20:45

i have decided.i do not like that colour and i shant buy it.

i will bide my time, for an hour or two Grin

aswellasyou · 19/08/2011 20:46

If you're really concerned about the colour, you could pay another £12.95 and buy one here.

FriggFRIGG · 19/08/2011 20:55

thanks aswell, they have them in the red and cream that is my favoriteGrin
shall have to wait for the kobi to sell though....

aswellasyou · 19/08/2011 21:00

Or you could buy it from Boots in crimson and grey using the code FRGT23 to get 10% off so it's £323.99. You get 6462 points and if you go through Quidco, you get 6% (£19.44) cashback.

Or pay a tad more and get the purple.

MonkeysPunk · 19/08/2011 21:01

I love that stone/sand one! It's the one I had hoped to get but couldn't find cheap enough. I think its really classy, and the best match for my beloved giraffe hobo sack!

OP posts:
aswellasyou · 19/08/2011 21:06

Where else have you advertised the Kobi? I'm thinking Gumtree, Preloved, Pushchair Trader, local fancy shop window, etc.

FriggFRIGG · 19/08/2011 21:08

preloved ebay,mumsnet,babycenter....

(the sand would be ruined in seconds hereGrin)

TruthSweet · 19/08/2011 21:09

Frigg - I have the red/cream/black BJCMD and the cream on the seat gets filthy within minutes. Or maybe it's just my DDs who are mucky pups with their snacks....

Though if you do buy it I could knock you up some matching custom liners as I made some in cream/soft red bamboo print (sounds 'interesting' but they are really nice) and I bought double the fabric that I needed Grin

suzie38 · 19/08/2011 21:14

That Boots offer is great, as that £64.62 to spend in Boots at Christmas.

FriggFRIGG · 19/08/2011 21:25

oh truth dont say that! i had it when DS was a teeny newborn, and i LOVED it,the colour combo is lurvery, and i always stare at them longingly when i see them about,so even though purple is more my colour and a darker colour would be more practical...i most likely will get the red and cream anyway!Blush Grin

id love a liner or two,how much?.....Grin

Tiggywunkle · 19/08/2011 21:29

Boots have the double sided Maclaren ones for buy one get one half price I think....

TruthSweet · 19/08/2011 21:34

I'd do them for £25 the pair? I did a pattern for the BJ so just have to cut the fabric out. I did the cream/red bamboo on one side and cream calico on the back. The bamboo is an upholstery fabric so pretty durable.

MonkeysPunk · 20/08/2011 13:03

I'm in town and have seen the kobi and xari! The seats are a bit small for Ds now.
I have also been in the m&p shop and was super impressed! The ziko frankie was on offer. I really liked it.

OP posts:
FriggFRIGG · 20/08/2011 15:24

ehh???

suzie38 · 20/08/2011 15:26

How tall/heavy is your DS Mp??? I'm going to look at them tomorrow.

Tiggywunkle · 20/08/2011 16:00

I like the Frankie too and I don't do strollers!! Lol! My daughter had loads of room in the seat but only a couple of cms in the hood. She looked really comfy when we had the Kobi. Suzie I am sure your DD will have plenty f room.

TruthSweet · 20/08/2011 18:00

Frigg - was the ehh? directed at me ?Smile

FriggFRIGG · 20/08/2011 18:04

FriggFRIGG · 20/08/2011 18:07

im getting very impatient for the Kobi to sell now,we've been stuck in with no buggy,no extra funds to buy another, for days i am losing the plot!!

TruthSweet · 20/08/2011 18:44
