I think the bjcm footmuff would fit your child if sitting in the bjcm, as it reaches all the way down to the footrest. It's really light, but appears shower and wind resistant!
The footmuff secures in place using the pull handle.
It is a boxed style, so ought to have room for shoes of older toddlers.
The top does completely zip off leaving a neat fleecy liner, so the top can be stowed away in the basket when not in use. Excellent for longer outings when it becomes chillier later in the day.
I do think it was good value at £35 and also the raincover at £16.

Plum BJCM and sling of your choice....melkaj is awesome, as are Storchenwiege ...but you already have a sling right?
I don't think you'll want to be faffed selling another pram before the +1 will you really?

OP posts:
MonkeysPunk · 19/08/2011 14:43

You could always get the double bjcm, which also comes in plum.....
Of course purple might not be your fave colour....personally I am loving the plum bjcm. It's one of the smartest looking buggies I've had.

FriggFRIGG · 19/08/2011 14:44

FriggFRIGG · 19/08/2011 14:47

i LOVE purple....but it wont go with my red buggysnuggles....

MonkeysPunk · 19/08/2011 14:58

Get the plum bjcm from next (you can pay later if you have an account) get free del using the current code off the discounts and vouchers section here. Get the purple bjcm footmuff too (though next didn't have it when I looked)....then keep, no re-selling.

OP posts:
FriggFRIGG · 19/08/2011 15:04

Hmm...how much did it cost you?

MonkeysPunk · 19/08/2011 15:17

Plum bjcm £195 at Next plus interest if your paying later. Next day delivery if you order by 9pm I think!

Honestly I would pick up a BJCM cheap and believe me it will sell easily after. Mine went within days. You have no idea when the +one will turn up, it hopefully will be soon, but if it's delayed at least you have something. I couldn't imagine slinging my baby now....

Tiggywunkle · 19/08/2011 15:22

I only had my BJCM about two months and I made a profit on it from new! Plus I got Boots points :)

FriggFRIGG · 19/08/2011 15:37

do you mean the BJCMD tiggy?

Tiggywunkle · 19/08/2011 15:43

Yes the double.

suzie38 · 19/08/2011 15:47

I'm going to try and pursuade DH to take me to the Solihull JL on Sunday so i can check whether i like the Xari's or not...Whether it's worth selling the Donkey for one???

FriggFRIGG · 19/08/2011 15:49

Okay, perhaps youre right,my DD is going through a rather challenging phase, and DS is nearly 23lbs Shock so im not over the moon about lugging him about.....it wont fit through my front door, but i liked it apart from that, last itme i had it,and DD doesnt nap in the buggy so often anymore so its not so much of an issue...still need to sell l the Kobi first till then,im stuck insideSad

Tiggywunkle · 19/08/2011 15:59

((Hugs Frigg)) Most of my pushchairs are boxed up now and are on EBay or are going on this weekend (free listings). You must be able to find a cheap £50 bargain on EBay somewhere to see you through?? I briefly had a Sienta Duo and it was a good little pushchair. Easy to push. But my DS still napped and DD was too tall for the front seat. It was too long for my car. But to walk out of the house it was fine.

MonkeysPunk · 19/08/2011 16:04

Is the 25% offer at tesco still on or the 15% off at mothercare?

OP posts:
Tiggywunkle · 19/08/2011 16:29

Yes it is at Tesco but the BJCM is just shy of £360 which sounds expensive, but I am not good at maths but it would then be £270 which sounds good plus you get the Clubcard points....

MonkeysPunk · 19/08/2011 16:38

You could try the en84 code at mothercare also to bring their discount up to 25% too, if they have it. Just incase that gives more choice! The tesco deal sounds fab for the points too though.

OP posts:
aswellasyou · 19/08/2011 16:43

Definitely get another double I'd say. The BJCM at Tesco is a really good deal and you shouldn't lose any money on it.
I wouldn't get it from Mothercare though because of their terrible CS and the discount would only be 23.5% so it's probably more expensive anyway.

Tiggywunkle · 19/08/2011 16:50

Tesco have taken my Nipper back with no quibble at all. They are even coming to collect it. Fab customer service.

aswellasyou · 19/08/2011 17:20

That's good service from Tesco.

I keep forgetting to let you know if you haven't seen already, but the Trunki GoVinci you were all talking about ages ago is half price at the moment here.

aswellasyou · 19/08/2011 17:21

Oh and the Yondis are half price too.

FriggFRIGG · 19/08/2011 17:55

thanks guys, that tesco code makes it the cheapest i can find...wasnt the coulor i would have gone for,but beggars cant be choosersGrin

might see if i can get it 'buy now pay later' i never do that (i only use money i have) but i NEED a double, and the Kobi will go eventually,so i can pay it off as soon as it goes......hmmm,still makes me nervous though, spending money that isnt mine...i dont even have an overdraft!Grin

aswellasyou · 19/08/2011 19:36

I'm exactly the same, Frigg. I hate borrowing money in any way. But the Kobi will sell and you'll get a good return on the BJCMD.

FriggFRIGG · 19/08/2011 19:51

i sthiss the 2011 edition,or the pre 2011 ed',how do i know and what are the differences? is it just the back rest?? will this coulour sell okay do you think?
