Its a pushchair that site between the City Mini and Elite! Very useful. Lol re begging Baby Jogger. Good luck!

Tiggywunkle · 15/09/2011 11:39

Sits not 'site'

Tiggywunkle · 15/09/2011 11:43

BTW just seen that Stokke have no plans for a double at present.

Tiggywunkle · 15/09/2011 11:48

I have just read this! The Origami is alive and still kicking!
"The first place winner in the World of Moving Baby category was the Origami stroller from the company 4moms. "What an innovation: the first stroller that folds together with the push of a button," said the jury members. The stroller's sporty feel was also a hit. Equipped with a speedometer, kilometre counter and thermometer, the Origami provides the perfect exercise programme. The jury also had high praise for the Quinny Vezz pram from the company Dorel Netherlands: In view of the product's lightweight yet strong design, the jury called it the "perfect pram for a shopping trip in the city".

The Yezz might be quite useful now i've got a tiny car...The Moodd is just a Buzz in my opinion.

suzie38 · 15/09/2011 12:06

The black and pink Vista looks fabulous but why couldn't the handle be 2" lower???

suzie38 · 15/09/2011 14:54

The new BJ has an adjustable handle so it'd be suitable for me, though i'd prefer it as a 4 wheeled option.

suzie38 · 15/09/2011 15:10

Have you seen the Uppababy Cruz??? I like the look of that better...No dimensions or other infomation yet but it looks smaller so the handle might suit me better.

MonkeysPunk · 15/09/2011 16:32

I thought the cruzz looked nice too.
Uppababy sell, as a spare, seat and hood fabrics, £65 approx. I was thinking of getting the black on my black chassis, as the yellow clashes with my winter coat! It's fab value compared to bugaboo fabric sets. I might even get the blue too.

the uppababy cruz is smaller but with the same size seat as the vista

The only downside is no bumper bar which is something i love...prams liking your gushing about the Xari on another thread.

Tiggywunkle · 15/09/2011 16:47

I am sat on the beach in the sunshine feeling chuffed with myself for biking here with the trailer on the back. I need to buy the sun cover as poor DS is asleep in the sun (not direct coz of the covers) but draping a muslin isn't working well. DD is digging away happily and I am contemplating the route home via the tiny town centre or back along the bike track (further and harder ride but not as much traffic). Decisions decisions!! I am not finding it much harder with the children on board though. In fact it's better for my bike which was too light really. Anyone for ice cream??

pramsgalore · 15/09/2011 16:48

i do love my xari Grin so are you getting one?
i have to say i also like bumperbars, my orbit does not have one as she could not find it Sad

pramsgalore · 15/09/2011 16:55

tiggy, they are lovely trailers, i have not used my suncover yet, but looking at it it just velcros round the tubes, it does look like it would do a good job, don't know how much of a view lo would get but beats full sun in eyes.

suzie38 · 15/09/2011 16:58

Still deciding because of the seat size plus DH has locked 2 savings accounts so it now means i'm going to have to use my savings to pay from house and garden improvements until he can pay me back in 2014!!! The savings he was going to use, are now paying for a new car...Plus i've just had a new car...The Xari would squash into my car i think if i take the back wheels off whereas the Donkey is just too wide because of the handle, though could possibly squeeze if i took all 4 wheels off but that seems too faffy except for rare occasions...I bet i could get £750 easily for the Donkey which would virtually cover the Xari costs...The Polish Xari is listed again for £699 and i do have over £100 in my Paypal but it's just the 'if something goes wrong' factor that bothers me.

pramsgalore · 15/09/2011 17:10

i have to say i do love my xari but dd does have more leg room on the cameleon her feet don't touch the footrest yet, they are nearly there, but the xari is so much nicer to push, some of that being because of the handle. i have been really good and not bought anymore pushchairs since the cameleon, i do look but then think well they won't push as nice as the xari, but i may end up having to buy a sn buggy for ds in a years time if he has out grown the verve, i am not bothered him going over the weight limit, its just if he suddenly has a huge growth spurt he may not have head room, but got at least a year or more hopefully, did look at the babyjogger summit but don't know if the seat and head height are bigger and higher than the verve which is good, after the near miss we had, he needs a buggy for when its busy or near roads, as he really does not understand dangers Sad

suzie38 · 15/09/2011 17:24

How old is your DD??? I love the pivoting handle as i'm a sucker for those as well...Plus the brake is better on the Xari...The Donkey's goes on easy but is harder to take off in sandals...Plus i love the adjustable bumper bar and the bouncy suspension...Folded it looks better as it's more a parcel shape as opposed to the Donkey's cheese wedge shape...I prefer box shapes in everything hence me getting annoyed with wrapping odd shaped presents...Not looked into the weights of both though.

pramsgalore · 15/09/2011 17:31

my dd is 3 years old in 5 weeks, but she is small for her age, she is in aged 2 clothes

suzie38 · 15/09/2011 17:36

My DD has just gone into 12-18 month clothes and her feet do rest on the Donkey's footrest hence my worry about the Xari...Maybe the Donkey has a shorter legrest than the Cameleon...I sold my Frog and Cameleon over 6 months ago so can't remember what they were like...Mind you i don't strap DD in so she can shuffle forwards so her legs dangle lower.

pramsgalore · 15/09/2011 17:51

yes dd is strapped in so sat right back into the seat, if i did not strap her in she would climb out straight away, even if we were going at speed Grin,

pramsgalore · 15/09/2011 17:59

when i was in jl i thought the donkey seat look narrow but other than that the same, she is in age 2, 2-3 are too big, i think she will be fine in the xari for another year then she will be 4 and prob wont want to go in a pushchair for short trips anyway Sad but will keep it for days out and long walks, Smile

Tiggywunkle · 15/09/2011 18:41

My DD was 99cms the other day if that helps at all. She could fit under the Kobi hood when we had it with a cm or two spare.
I have just bought a Croozer sun canopy and rain cover (although it's not much of a raincover!!)
I really like the look of the Cruz over the Vista. I could be tempted by one to be honest. Smaller but with a large basket and seat. Nice colours too. I wish the Rumble seat would hurry up because I need to turn the Vista round into something else!

Tiggywunkle · 15/09/2011 18:50

The only thing with the Cruz is that the back wheels are tiny. That looks a bit odd or is it just me? But I prefer it to the Vista plus it parent faces and takes a stroller board :)
