Tiggy, the wheels come if the surf easy too so it should fit.

Honeydragon · 28/08/2011 23:58

The Mia moda ev is impossible to get here. The surf doesn't recline but is comfortable.

Tiggywunkle · 29/08/2011 11:01

That's good about the wheels. I literally need it for swimming. To get from the car and to sit in whilst changing. Fingers crossed it will fit. I will measure the lockers when we go swimming in a bit. Thanks.

FriggFRIGG · 29/08/2011 12:40

okay guys opinions.... do i buy this or this

and was it monkey who had the freerider? how did you rate it?

FriggFRIGG · 29/08/2011 18:08

right you lot, distract me with buggys!
ive gotten into a bun fight....one of you must have a pretty link i can watch?!

Tiggywunkle · 29/08/2011 18:21

I would get the official one TBH...but I haven't used either. But the other may well not sit ok on the curve of the Verves bumper bar.

FriggFRIGG · 29/08/2011 18:42

umm,i do prefer the look of it,and DD could use it for drawing too...

FriggFRIGG · 29/08/2011 19:25

Aswellasyou can you come over to the 'oyster' thread? your bargain hunting services would be very much appreciated by a good friend of mineSmile

FriggFRIGG · 29/08/2011 19:38

wow tiggy you've been busy! just been looking on BB im Shock at the mb duet!

MonkeysPunk · 29/08/2011 19:47

The freerider is clever how it attaches to the buggy. However on the swift there is little room to walk to the side of it due to rhe narrow axel.
I found it was heavier than the microscooter and Ds found it harder than the microscooter to ride as a toy due to its weight.

OP posts:
Tiggywunkle · 29/08/2011 21:02

The freerider is quite a big chunk of a scooter compared to the scooter you already ave. The footplate is much wider for standing on. I have more to do on BB tonight - some I am not happy about ie the sun directly in DS's eyes. but we did get into my problem shop and even the B-Dual struggled with it and the wheel guards used to bend!

Tiggywunkle · 29/08/2011 21:04

Oh and I came here to say the Surf won't fit in the lockers as it is, but may do with the wheels removed. Or we did find some longer lockers but they had a lock on the door (but still keys in), so they may be for groups. But if we can get in then the surf will fit in one of this. DH carried DS today which was fine when we got a baby table but a nightmare without one.

suzie38 · 29/08/2011 21:38

Pushchairs came in at number 43 in the top 100 greatest gadgets!!! Showed a twin Citisport initially.

aswellasyou · 29/08/2011 22:28

Frigg, I'd also get the P&T one. It looks really nice and it won't sit awkwardly like the other one might.

We took the B-Dual to a fair/table top sale today. It was partially inside with massive steps to get out, but mostly on grass. The pushchair coped perfectly with getting up and down the steps, pushing over the grass, going up and down steep verges and going over very uneven paving slabs. I'm so glad we got it-it's been so much better than expected. I'm hatching up a plan to fashion some sort of foam wedge seat liner to make the bottom seat more upright for when the babies get more bothered about sitting up straight. Why don't they make these things already?!

Tiggywunkle · 29/08/2011 23:00

Awww!! But a useful way to use the Duet hole! He's only two weeks old.

aswellasyou · 29/08/2011 23:03

That is so cute! Smile

suzie38 · 29/08/2011 23:03

Smile Aww a cute kitty!!!

FriggFRIGG · 29/08/2011 23:40

Awwww! Is he yours tiggy?if not i vote you stael him and use him to plug the hole on days outGrin

yes i think i will get the verve one, youre right,it looks nicer....im now debating the sunshine kids parent console or the jumper console,or the phil and teds hang bagConfused

Tiggywunkle · 29/08/2011 23:44

The kitten lives across from us in the almost identical house. So we get to cuddle him / her lots! It is currently unnamed!
The hang bag doesn't sit right. I had one and the ergonomic handlebar allowed it to drape strangely. The Baby Jogger Parent Console worked great.

FriggFRIGG · 29/08/2011 23:51

oh brilliant, thanks for that tiggy!

fairimum · 30/08/2011 12:14

hmmm so what is the uppababy piggyback board like? jsut as awkwards as all the other buggy boards out there?

FriggFRIGG · 30/08/2011 15:26

monkey has one,IIRC she liked it....

MY VERVE IS ON ITS WAY!!!GrinGrinGrin

Tiggywunkle · 30/08/2011 15:30

I like the way the piggy back puts the child between the Vista pushchair and handle bar rather than you hunching over the child if positioned after the handlebar.

Tiggywunkle · 30/08/2011 15:31

:o :o :o What should I try next?

FriggFRIGG · 30/08/2011 15:39

The Donkey Grin
