New thread for buggy collectors! Grin

OP posts:
suzie38 · 27/08/2011 10:44

Not sure...I'll have to work out how much i spent in total...I've got my first neutral on eBay so i sent a rude email!!! The baby shoes were barely worn if at all...My DD never wore them...If you want pristine shoes then buy brand new...I'm really cross...I called her a stupid cow!!! I was also rude to someone on a post on here this morning...Totally pointless post that was over 16 months out of date!!!

suzie38 · 27/08/2011 10:49

I've spent almost £900 on the Orbit and full accessories plus £94 on customs.

Tiggywunkle · 27/08/2011 10:49

I could get it down to one pushchair (single to double) if I had to - but it's the one I don't own and I don't know how to buy exactly what I need so I have my own....but I have been asking. Ideally I would like a BJCM too because baby sleeps in a pushchair in the daytime in the house and the BJCM is easy to pull out and flick open with baby tucked under the other arm. But I could live with one if I had to.

Tiggywunkle · 27/08/2011 10:50

I laughed at that you response Suzie. It was great! I don't agree with their response anyway!

aswellasyou · 27/08/2011 10:57

FriggFRIGG · 27/08/2011 14:22

i really need to get them up!

im still waiting for payment on the kobi tooHmm not impressed.especially as i have someone else waiting with the money asking to come and get it!

suzie38 · 27/08/2011 14:51

Have you emailed to say that??? I got a reply to my email to say the shoes aren't wearable...They were size 2 from Next, label inside and i put that infomation on eBay so not much i can do about it...i bought some badly stained Osh Kosh leggings but i still gave good feedback just out of goodwill.

FriggFRIGG · 27/08/2011 15:53

yes,if i dont hear from her by tonight i'm going to start a dispute.Angry

suzie38 · 27/08/2011 16:03

Honeydragon · 27/08/2011 16:12

I see you guys beat me to it with our resident troll celebrity Icandy salesperson celebrity then? Grin

suzie38 · 27/08/2011 16:18

Well it was a load of boll*s...I never knew Madonna had a Bugaboo, so i learnt something very interesting today Smile

Honeydragon · 27/08/2011 16:52

Suzie lets face it, Madonna's had every type of child, so it makes sense she's tried every type of pushchair Wink

I wouldn't mind the Pitt Jolies pushchair cast offs either, bet they had loads Grin

suzie38 · 27/08/2011 16:57

Now they might sling a lot...I did see a picture recently of SJP twins...One was in a really cheap looking umbrella stroller that i wouldn't be caught dead with...It's the fault of some US star i've got my Bumblerides!!! One of the kids is called Zuma.

Tiggywunkle · 27/08/2011 18:51

The last pushchair I saw Madonna with was an apple green P&Ts.
We took the Duet out today. Fun and games. I don't like having to empty my entire boot out to put a pushchair in (a necessary side by side evil though) but the Duet is so long there's not even a strip down the side to dump bags which there usually is. It was nice to be able to fit through smaller gaps though but...and I don't know if this makes sense...with a single you just have to squidge the wheels through a gap. With a side by side you have to make sure the top of the pushchair fits too and I kept knocking things off stands. I don't usually take a side by side shopping. It was raining and the storm cover worked well but I don't hold out much hope of getting it back into the neat little bag. I had to tug it out in the first place. So that's a bit of a shame coz I liked the bag. DS fell asleep and then DD split water on herself - cue major tears which woke DS up - leaving me with two crying children! Arrghh! DD didn't really like the raincover. I loved the zip open front but she had to bend down to see out. She didn't look very happy. I had to remove the bumper bar because it was too near her face for her to read or play. I also found it surprisingly heavy, plus it lists to whichever side DD is on. I have never been a side by side fan though. I thought this would cure me but I don't think it has! I bought the matching Quinny footmuff new on EBay so I have two sets of Quinny Footmuffs coming. One will go in the Duet and one in the Peach for half the price of Buggysnuggles without having o keep swapping.
I hope your sale goes through soon Frigg.

Tiggywunkle · 27/08/2011 18:57

Suzie, when you get a minute would you do me a favour and get me the measurements for the back of the Donkey seat ie bottom to top. And maybe centre of the seat to the centre of the open canopy. I am wondering if DD will fit in. I believe the hood can move up or something similar? If you fancy doing me the other seat measurements for BB whilst you are there eg seat depth, width at back and knee, and knee to footrest then they would be appreciated. I am seriously pondering one...

FriggFRIGG · 27/08/2011 19:05

i would get a donkey if i though it'd fit though my door, and def if i could blag i ?needed to do a review on itWink go for it tiggy Grin

i think the sale has gone through, bank transfer though rather than pp,so it might not go in until wednesday Sad

suzie38 · 27/08/2011 19:36

Width at back of seat = 24cm
Width of seat at front = 28cm
Width at shoulder = 32cm
Seat back = 50cm
Height to hood = 59cm
Seat depth = 21cm
Footrest length = 25cm

Tiggywunkle · 27/08/2011 20:15

Thanks tons :) The Donkey is practically the same if not a tad bigger, than the Duet :)

FriggFRIGG · 27/08/2011 20:27
