No it was a really odd place to put them i thought, the fold was ridiculously long.

id LOVE to go to the baby show, when is it?i wonder how long it'd take me to get there....

suzie38 · 26/08/2011 20:56

2-4th September at Manchester...One in Earls Court not long after.

aswellasyou · 26/08/2011 21:00

How do you know this information suzie?! Do you know if they're selling any Kobis off and how much they are? I'm being unrealistically excited about being able to buy one. Wink

aswellasyou · 26/08/2011 21:00

Can you imagine if we had an addicts get together there?!Grin

FriggFRIGG · 26/08/2011 21:05

we'd scare the crap out of the vendors aswellas Grin
we could move like a herd and descend on each stall at the same time.....

suzie38 · 26/08/2011 21:14

Great idea!!! Well if i go it'll have to be Saturday, as i work on the other days, plus i can catch an early train before 9.30am.

Tiggywunkle · 26/08/2011 21:16

Ooohhhh that sounds fun :) Buggy Addicts in Manchester :)

suzie38 · 26/08/2011 21:16

www.thebabyshow.co.uk/exhibitor_list/view?e_id=18

suzie38 · 26/08/2011 21:16

Actually CR infomation.

aswellasyou · 26/08/2011 21:23

How can I persuade Saoirse to go?! Grin I'll be in Liverpool on Friday with my Dad but he'll be coming back in the evening. Surely they must have ex display Kobis to sell too.

Tiggywunkle · 26/08/2011 21:28

...1p, 5p, 20p, a button, 2p, a drawing pin.....hmmm....how discounted do you think they will be? I wonder if I could buy mine back?? :o

aswellasyou · 26/08/2011 21:33

I reckon they'll be £50 £799. Imara's now got about £300 in her money box. She won't notice if I take it as a downpayment on one will she?Wink

aswellasyou · 26/08/2011 21:34

Oh and about £400 in her bank account. I'm almost there!Grin

FriggFRIGG · 26/08/2011 21:38

suzie38 · 26/08/2011 21:38

I just want to try the Xari seat out again, though Solihull is far nearer but don't think DH will want to be dragged there again so soon.

Tiggywunkle · 26/08/2011 21:54

I justvwant to go and have a play in a pram shop :) Oh maybe I will go to Manchester....hmmm

suzie38 · 26/08/2011 22:09

A local shop to me that i bought some Oyster bits from, let me have a play with the pushchairs when i told her i was an addict!!!

Tiggywunkle · 26/08/2011 22:16

I need a BB Addicts club ;)

suzie38 · 26/08/2011 22:30

Good idea!!!

Tiggywunkle · 26/08/2011 22:37

Those Footmuffs are now out of stock and twice the price! I hope I get mine Hmm

aswellasyou · 26/08/2011 22:45

Mothercare always just shows the original price once an item is out of stock. Maybe you got the last two. Or all those people who secretly read this bought them!GrinHmm

Tiggywunkle · 27/08/2011 00:14

We need a secret bargain corner or Ebay spotter announcement corner...so that everyone on the internet doesn't follow / buy the same items! Do you ever wonder who reads our daily drivel intelligent conversation?

MonkeysPunk · 27/08/2011 00:48

Non of my MC codes for 10% are currently working - they were a few days ago....don't think the en84 expired - but they have stopped it working in conjunction with 15% off..not that I need/want to buy anything - just like the satisfaction of seeing the discount on my "fantasy" shopping in the basket!!! Grin

I've been uploading pics to photobucket in readiness for a lot of ebay adverts I need to write in the next few days - takes forever

Tiggy do you think you'll get a donkey?

There's so much going on here now - I cannot remember who has or is getting what now?! LOL

H has just figured out (almost) how many prams are here - and is not happy - despite that I'm already preparing to sell half of them - he wants me to have just one pram....not sure that is possible!
My plan is to keep three. 1.Everyday parent facer, 2. off-roader, 3. compact lightweight.

I think that is reasonable for someone who will be walking about 8 miles a day and doesn't own a car or drive! Hmm

OP posts:
suzie38 · 27/08/2011 08:30

I'd struggle to get down to one but if i had to, it'd be my flyer that i'd keep though not sure it'd manage snow unless very compacted...Lots of people have at least 2 anyway...Pushchair they had from birth then the Maclaren that they bought at 6 months!!! I'm happy with what i've got at the moment though still trying to decide between the Donkey and Xari...I wish i'd not bought the Orbit now...Because it's so unusual looking even my dad would notice it...Since he comes here twice a week it's upstairs in the office so i can't be arsed getting it down...It's not great for the car as you have so many bits to take apart...Bag out, bumper bar off, seat off, then fold up and try with difficulty to fit into busy boot!!! Indie is for snow or rare time off road...Flite is just for fun, not the easiest to push but probably come in handy when we start using buses, and DD walks a lot of the time anyway...Then there's a buggy left at each grandparents house...Mine have the Quest, in laws have my 1st Citisport...My dad uses the brand new Citisport i bought...Once my house has been sorted out then i'll have 2 cupboards to put folded pushchairs in.

aswellasyou · 27/08/2011 10:39

I really do wonder who reads this! They're just here for our bargains, I'm sure. Grin

suzie, is there any chance you'd get most of your money back by selling the Orbit? Then you could have the Xari and keep the Donkey.
