The suspension is fab....I dropped it straight off a huge step with my two in and I didn't even realise we had hit the floor until DH told me!

TruthSweet · 23/08/2011 23:09

Thanks Tiggy. I'll have a good look tomorrow.

aswellasyou · 23/08/2011 23:16

Phew! I thought I'd missed out on seeing it.Grin

MonkeysPunk · 24/08/2011 12:22

Where is the v cheapest place/ way to get a new bugaboo bee plus? Mothercare price match? Where can I get them to match too?

OP posts:
Tiggywunkle · 24/08/2011 12:42

Lullaboo Baby were the cheapest for months.

sillyworriedmama · 24/08/2011 17:28

Does anyone buy or sell from www.pushchairtrader.co.uk? they don't charge fees but I've not bought anything from there yet, although I'm keeping an eye on the BJCM's! I did see there were lots of bee's on there Monkey when I wanted one of those 6 months ago, not bad prices for second hand (and there were bee+ as well as just bee's)

suzie38 · 24/08/2011 17:39

I advertised a buggy but never got any interest...I wanted to buy a fairly local Vista but it had already been sold.

aswellasyou · 24/08/2011 21:21

We got all set up today to take the photos of the B-Dual with height increasers and then realised they've got little plastic bits sticking out that stop them from sliding all the way into the holes. I reckon we might be able to use a little hacksaw to get rid of them so they will fit. I don't think the height increasers will be very sturdy with the seat shifters at the same time but hopefully we'll be able to test them after our very technical adjustments. Grin

Hello
Just came across this thread and hope some of you can advise me. Been looking around and have pretty much decided on a maxi cosi mila. 1st baby on the way and we live up two flights of stairs in the centre of London (no lift). Also want something compatable with a pebble seat but that doesn't take up the whole boot of the car so i'm 95% happy with the mila... just want to hear from anyone who has used them from birth. Good, bad, indifferent?

thanks

FriggFRIGG · 24/08/2011 21:32

Grin ive got a picture in my head of aswell and saorise with a tiny hacksaw,a microscope, and ultimately a wobbly buggy....

FriggFRIGG · 24/08/2011 21:33

sorry redlaura ive never used the maxicosi mila,if you start a thread on the main pushchair forum, you might get more answers.good luck!Smile

FriggFRIGG · 24/08/2011 21:36

theres a bee+ on the FS boards monkey...

aswellasyou · 24/08/2011 22:19

Frigg!Shock It will not be wobbly!

FriggFRIGG · 24/08/2011 22:22

sorry...
course it wont.

aswellasyou · 24/08/2011 22:38

There'll be no smirking when we have the perfect tandem with both babies in view. Just jealousy. Wink

Tiggywunkle · 24/08/2011 22:41

Yes someone else used a hacksaw...I forgot to tell you! Go carefully!

aswellasyou · 24/08/2011 22:49

Did they manage it? It doesn't look too difficult to get them off.

Tiggywunkle · 24/08/2011 22:51

Yes they did.

aswellasyou · 24/08/2011 22:57

That's exactly what I hoped to hear! Grin Hopefully we'll do it tomorrow, I just need to dig out my hacksaw from wherever it's hiding.

FriggFRIGG · 25/08/2011 09:32

right can you lot have a look at my listing please,i keep getting people asking me the same questions, ive updated the listing a bit,can you let me know what you think?
its in near perfect condition,BUT i dont want to say its immaculate when it has some imperfections here and there, you can hardly see them, but they are there, anyway, can you just let me know if you think i should make any amendments? here

also, should i redo the pictures outside if it ever stops raining?they arent great are they...Grin

suzie38 · 25/08/2011 09:41

It seems to be packed full of infomation...Only possible extra in my book is a link to the Cheeky Rascals site unless that is a no no...I think the main issue is that people in general just don't know the pushchair enough to 'google' it on eBay...If you don't know it exists you aren't going to look for it...Until it's sold in a lot more places ie it's not even sold in my local JL, people won't look for it unless they're addicts like us lot!!! I've posted 2 links from emails i've recieved from parenting sites so in that way more people will be exposed through media before in person...I've never seen a Mima being used in real life...I've never even seen a Donkey elsewhere and they are sold in independant shops as well as all JL's.

suzie38 · 25/08/2011 09:42

PS...Yes outside pictures are better but it's not going to bring in the punters much more...It's a bugger you had to stop using the iCandy in the title.

FriggFRIGG · 25/08/2011 09:49

i know,i had so many more hits when i had icandy in the title....im still getting interest though,it just seemed my description was too ambiguous.i guess not,i suppose people are more suspicious of it because there is only one available...

ill get on thoes photos as soon as it stops raining,i have to photograph the micralite anyhow....

FriggFRIGG · 25/08/2011 09:50

oh and i think the ocxford pram center has the verve,do you reckon its worth the 2hr round trip to go and check it out?
