This is as imaginative as I get!Wink
Frigg, my Mum works for the City Council doing disability adaptations to resident's houses. She goes to assessments with an OT, decides on adaptations needed, designs them, draws up plans, applies for planning permission and oversees the work. She's been in the same job since she was 18 so she's learnt a lot about all sorts of dsabilities along the way.

Is it that hot??? Maybe it's new to America???

Tiggywunkle · 08/08/2011 15:28

It is relatively new to America - a few months old.

Tiggywunkle · 08/08/2011 15:29

That must mean I have the hottest double in the world :o :o I love it soooooooooooooooooooooo much!

FriggFRIGG · 08/08/2011 15:41

remind me....why is it i dont like p&t's???

i have had quite a few,and i always sell them on really quickly, but on paper, they seem to be just what i need....hmmm,and the verve is so pretty looking....

aswellasyou · 08/08/2011 15:49

Saoirse's just made me buy the BJCMD on the For Sale board! She'll probably force it to fit in our Mum's boot even if she has to strap the parcel shelf to the roof! Hmm

aswellasyou · 08/08/2011 15:50

It's not the end though!

FriggFRIGG · 08/08/2011 15:56

what BJCMD?? i havent seen one,and ive been looking Confused
not that it matters any more if you've bought it!Grin

Tiggywunkle · 08/08/2011 16:13

Frigg we have had this conversation. The Verve is incredibly pretty...very pretty...but I thought you needed storage space??

LOL a BJCMD will be good for you guys.

Now...I would like this: cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220823803452&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT but they say they won't post even though it says it on the ad Confused. But its going to be a heavy beastie to post...and I dont really want it...so talk me out of it!

aswellasyou · 08/08/2011 16:16

I thought the single was a double for some reason! I'm really embarrassed and have no idea why I thought it was a double.Confused

Tiggy, Saoirse sent me that link yesterday saying we should buy it. Do you reckon it's worth a go for us?

OP posts:
FriggFRIGG · 08/08/2011 16:18

i think they would post,if you asked....but do you really want it?? do you??looks like a bit of a beast!

and you're right,i do need storage/leg room, its no good for me...but its so pretty!

what i really need is for MB to get their arses in gear and get the +one out!!
and i need to sell the kobi so i can afford to but it Grin

Tiggywunkle · 08/08/2011 16:32

I forgot the Zoom earlier on my list....

FRIGG - I did ask and they said no they wouldn't post even though it says they will on the advert. It is a humungous beast and no I dont really want it because like I said earlier they look like armchairs on wheels - I dont like them at all, but I could have done with it for BB...
Glad you slapped yourself into reality :) I hope it didn't hurt too much.

Aswellasyou - We talked about this before because it weighs a ton - there is a weight for the chassis and then one for the seats. I think the chassis will be small folded. But the seat units are large...and I can't really see how they will fold down to be small??? I know the newer One & Two ones fold but apart from going flat I am not sure about these. Its worth a punt if you can get it cheap (and if you hate it you can flog and post it onto me). I think the children will be comfy and I suspect it may not be bad to push. I just think it looks odd.

aswellasyou · 08/08/2011 16:42

I've asked them if they'll let us see it in real life tomorrow so we can attempt to work out if it'll fit in the car.

aswellasyou · 08/08/2011 16:43

I told Saoirse you'd said it was heavy but we're going to try everything and sell it on after two uses!Wink

OP posts:
saoirse86 · 08/08/2011 17:37

The Bebecar Vector is 22.5kg so still really heavy, although the contours is 25kg. I think it's worth us having a look if they let us, if only to discount it. I thought that a way to fold the seats may be to put them reclined flat with the hoods down, maybe?! Hmm

I'm getting fed up with doubles! Sad

When are we going to start this pushchair company that answers every problem and doesn't charge a fortune in the process? Wink

saoirse86 · 08/08/2011 18:47

Does anyone know anything about the Hauck Roadster Duo? It looks boring but might suit us and we could afford it new.

Honeydragon · 08/08/2011 21:18

from one extreme

to the other

I always wanted to try a Landy out.

FriggFRIGG · 08/08/2011 21:30

saorise it looks huge folded!

Honeydragon · 08/08/2011 21:33

incidentally, both those prams were recommended to me by ebay, you lot link me to too many doubles Grin

Tiggywunkle · 08/08/2011 21:33

It's a big pushchair Saorise....
The Marco sky looks small but they are soooooooo long folded.

Honeydragon · 08/08/2011 21:35

I know I've seen one in action, they are one of those chairs that could be fantastice despite the length, but the ruin them with cheap bits.

saoirse86 · 08/08/2011 21:48

The folded dimensions on paper look like it could work.

I hate pushchairs!

Off to buy a trailor...

Honeydragon · 08/08/2011 21:53

what about this? bugger to fold, but the heights adjustable and it's got plenty of room?

saoirse86 · 08/08/2011 21:58
FriggFRIGG · 08/08/2011 22:02

at least she didnt full stop you honeydragonGrin

so,honeydragon, when did your older ones stop using buggys???
and just how good is that bee+ of yours?? could the basket hold a scooter?
