This is as imaginative as I get!Wink
Frigg, my Mum works for the City Council doing disability adaptations to resident's houses. She goes to assessments with an OT, decides on adaptations needed, designs them, draws up plans, applies for planning permission and oversees the work. She's been in the same job since she was 18 so she's learnt a lot about all sorts of dsabilities along the way.

Gosh, does it say that on EBay? I thought I was getting some cheeky offers for my items!! That's ridiculous! to me, best offer means you expect to get ten or twenty pounds off or more pro rata but to offer £10 or even £300 is a real joke!

Tiggywunkle · 28/07/2011 21:09

The Duets have finally arrived at UK MB HQ today. Hurray!

suzie38 · 28/07/2011 21:19

Yes if i did a best offer it'd be £5 or £10 off per £100 maximim.

suzie38 · 28/07/2011 21:22

Bit of a cheap looking dolls pram for such a spoilt child...

I saw they make doll sized Joovy cabooses which is cool. My daughter desperately wanted to go in the gree pushchair today ie the Ultralight....I think she liked it....shame I needed to finish off a test drive of the Graco today. When I came downstairs hubby had put the folded Noa next to the folded Graco and the difference was hilarious! Little and large pushchairs at the extreme!

FriggFRIGG · 28/07/2011 22:11

BB is down.....Sad

Tiggywunkle · 28/07/2011 23:51

Is it back? We are installing new toys.

mummyistheword · 28/07/2011 23:54

Omg. Have been lately ummhing and ahhhing about getting rid my Phil teds and going back to a double nipper.....just found out our house move finalised and we have signed etc and new location will allow lots more walking, dd1 3.5 and ace walker but is far enough to playgroup, parks and will soon be able walk to library and swim pool and she sometimes needs a lift for sheer knackered little legs! Dd2 just turned one, had a nipper before but got rid as use car loads until immenent move that is!! So I was about post on here re poss nipper purchase and saw link to totally flabby tesco nipper deal! Thank you! Got double navy for 168 quid!! Omg omg. So excited, still to sell the sport but will get more than that and buy a stroller for car eg Mac quest. Sorted! Was end season sale and the tenner off voucher code as well! Also ordered a basket. Def the best buggy I ever had, push one handed with both girls in and loads handy storage on hood and seat backs for couple nappies wipes etc, love love it! Beats sport for my age gap hands down. Anyone want a v nearly new sport?? Never sold anything here before, must register for the sales borax thingy. It's on eBay anyways. So many thanks again! Love it even more as bargain of century, have looked at new nippers but much prefer the old style, mine never bothered by seats, they on go so much I think they like to hide away under that lovely big hood and chill their beans. Also I rather like the spoke wheels and the brake is easy enough and padded seats super comfy and well shaded and ventilated. Love it. Love this thread, although am not on much I always read avidly!

Tiggywunkle · 29/07/2011 00:14

LOL....I am amazed anyone reads our drivel! Confused Maybe we need a private chat room somewhere. Hmm Its lovely to hear a good review of the Nipper - should I say another good review....I forgot to order a basket :( I am glad you are all sorted :) It is a very good deal.

The singles have all sold out after being posted on MSE-they're crazy for bargains on there!Grin I'm quite glad it's stopped me from getting one. Although I'm sure it'd be a great pushchair, I really don't like the way it has 'out n about' written on the front-it looks like a child's written it in felt tip. I'd have to get a long liner to cover it.Wink
I'm also amazed people read all of our chitter chatter!

I have been having a head scratching morning - I have been trying to compile lists of my best of's for some time ie best light pushchair, best side by side double but the tandems really get me! Frigg asked me the other day which one tandem and which one single I would keep but it was nigh impossible to give a straight answer - especially because the singles I think would be great as all round pushchairs I haven't yet properly tried out. But this morning I have been tackling the tandems and they tie me in knots! They all have pros and cons and they all need qualifying in some way! Eg some are great for a newborn and toddler but some are fantastic for two older toddlers but its difficult to carry a newborn and toddler successfully. Some are heavy to lift but light to push. Some are parent facing but yet you can't see the second child without running round the side. I think I need to write like that instead of lists. Does anyone want to share their top lists eg best stroller, single, double for use on BB? Umbrella fold strollers in particular and singles. If you had to come up with one or two pushchairs all round pushchairs (without needing a second pushchair or stroller) you would recommend from birth to three which would you tell someone to have a look at first? Is there perfect pushchair? Sorry lots of questions but this all intrigues me massively and I bet you all have some great ideas.

TruthSweet · 29/07/2011 19:03

If anyone wants a bargain BJ Micro they are £99 in TJ Hughes (DH wouldn't let me get one as I have just bought the Flyer Sad). They also had a double Combi for £119 (side by side type) plus the usual assortment of buggy types.

FriggFRIGG · 29/07/2011 20:03

riddle me this

what the frigg IS this buggy!!???

Tiggywunkle · 29/07/2011 20:14

It's absolutely not a Mountain Buggy!

aswellasyou · 29/07/2011 20:37

Why would they think it was despite having no writing on and not being one?Hmm

aswellasyou · 29/07/2011 20:46

I can get onto the homepage but the links don't work. You can't buy online from them now though, just instore. I actually thought they'd all closed down but they obviously haven't seen as Truth's been in one.

FriggFRIGG · 29/07/2011 20:48

Oh.Sad
they're all really far away from me.

Tiggywunkle · 29/07/2011 21:01

I think this looks fun for three www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Valco-Twin-Triple-Buggy-/190558835164?pt=UK_Baby_BabyTravel_Pushchairs_GL&hash=item2c5e3111dc#ht_500wt_922 I can't work that twin pushchair out. It looked like a Teutonia / Kidz Cargo but it's not.

Tiggywunkle · 29/07/2011 21:02

Frigg...the Tesco one is cheaper but it's in lime...

Tiggywunkle · 29/07/2011 21:03

Sorry I meant the Micro...

aswellasyou · 29/07/2011 21:08

And did you see my suggestion to the woman wanting a Micro about how to get it cheap at Boots? Well it was actually the Mini I was talking about, but you know what I mean!

Tiggy, that Valco is fun looking. When I was looking at the Valco Ion, I came across it. It's like the Easywalker? Maybe?

OP posts:
aswellasyou · 29/07/2011 21:16

It was the T3 I was thinking of. They actually look like the same pushchair.
