This is as imaginative as I get!Wink
Frigg, my Mum works for the City Council doing disability adaptations to resident's houses. She goes to assessments with an OT, decides on adaptations needed, designs them, draws up plans, applies for planning permission and oversees the work. She's been in the same job since she was 18 so she's learnt a lot about all sorts of dsabilities along the way.

Oh and the Rumble seat has gone from being in stock to being back ordered so could potentially be two weeks!!! The Duets are delayed until next week now. And finally after weeks of waiting, the Taga second seat is due in the UK tomorrow. Hurray!

FriggFRIGG · 27/07/2011 21:00

helllooooo!!
we had a good time at the NF show, twas great! except for the tantrums and inept grandparents
i did not buy a buggy for the occasion Grin, but i would have if the seller had got back to me sooner,as she only wants £45 for the double mac, wouldve been a good car double....
i did not buy a pony either, although it wouldnt have been that weird actually,as i do normally have a couple of horses, not at the mo though.(too many babies)

tiggy,we have the bumble bee backpack reins too!and the lelli kellis your DD had on in a pic,my DD went mental when she saw them and claimed your DD had stolen them,i had to go and get them to prove we still had them

suzie38 · 27/07/2011 21:02

^LOL

FriggFRIGG · 27/07/2011 21:05

MASSIVE bargain to be had!

FriggFRIGG · 27/07/2011 21:08

damn,its got a reserve...

suzie38 · 27/07/2011 21:10

Yes i'm watching that one.

aswellasyou · 27/07/2011 21:11

They keep not selling it and relisting. I wonder what their reserve price is. I bet they'd have sold it if they offered postage.

It sounds like a good day out (minus tantrums).

look at their feed back....Confused

Tiggywunkle · 27/07/2011 21:14

Wow, anyone fancy collecting that one lol Only joking! But it's definitely worth a punt from someone!
Thank you tons and tons Frigg. You and your daddy are stars...whatever you said about him above, and I really massively appreciate your help :)
You are welcome to have a play but I will send for it soon :o I am very excited now!
I am glad you didn't buy a pony although it could have been very cute! You could still buy the Mac as a spare??
Lol re your daughter....if you show her the Kobi pics my DD has her bee backpack on. I can't believe your DD has the same Lelli Kellis and you had to prove your daughter still had hers! That's funny and cute! It's kind of freaky the parallels we have Confused
It's nice to have you and Suzie back. It's been quiet all day.

Tiggywunkle · 27/07/2011 21:17

Oooh that is odd feedback.... Hmm

aswellasyou · 27/07/2011 21:20

Really odd.Hmm I wonder what the deleted one said.

Wonder if it will sell, looks a lovely bargain.
The maclaren Starck works out around £140 not including possible import duty and tax. I think if I didn't already have the candy bar volo on order I would have bought the Orange one!

Glad you enjoyed the nf outing Friggfrigg, even without a buggy or pony. ;-P

FriggFRIGG · 27/07/2011 21:24

even weirder to then re-list itConfused

its nice to be back tiggy!
my dad is lovely, but not so good at childcare he is very sweet to DD,but lost her twice today because he was engrossed in something else!!
and my mother,is,well,frankly a nightmare!
but DD and DS had a great time,so all is good reallySmile

suzie38 · 27/07/2011 21:34

Someone rang me up to say they'd seen one of these outside a charity shop though in a pale orange color...Thought i could buy it to sell for a higher price on eBay.

cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150635745525&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Does it say chav all over??? I didn't bother buying!!! Nice of him to think of me though Smile

FriggFRIGG · 27/07/2011 21:37

wow!
i am not a fan...

Tiggywunkle · 27/07/2011 21:44

Frigg, glad you had a good time. My in laws have lot most of their children and grandchildren at some point Hmm I bet the Brio people don't want to sell it cheap and dont want or know how to put a reserve on....eBay don't delete feedback easily....
Suzie, they make a double version of that. It's apparently large! But it's far far from cool!

suzie38 · 27/07/2011 21:46

The single was massive, another reason for not buying.

aswellasyou · 27/07/2011 21:49

Is the Maclaren Starck something to do with Philip Starck?
suzie, i'm also not a fan. It'd sell well round here though.Hmm

Bugaboo are bringing out an all black Bee Plus!!!

Tiggywunkle · 27/07/2011 21:54

Yes, it's been on preorder for some days. I can't say I like it in all black. One pf the appeals of Bugaboo for me are the bright colours.

suzie38 · 27/07/2011 22:00

Now i like a black frame hence getting a black Oyster and considered the Cosmo Xari...I always add colorful liners and hoods.

aswellasyou · 27/07/2011 22:04

I like that! I'd want coloured fabrics though. I've been saying for ages they should do a black chassis for the Bee. I don't like the black/silver/black/silver on the normal chassis.

OP posts:
MonkeysPunk · 27/07/2011 22:13

The maclaren Starck is a collaberation between them and Phillip Starck.
It has a shelf behind the seat for a changing bag. No basket.
That pram is reminiscent of the dolls prams at toys r us...
I bet the all black bee looks lovely, but i might be worried about scratching it.
The nicest pram frame colour I ever saw was on the easylife sport. It's a gorgeous glitter silver.

aswellasyou · 27/07/2011 22:21

A shelf? Interesting. I'll have a look in a sec.
I've been meaning to ask, has anyone ever powdercoated a pushchair? I've been thinking of doing my Gecko. I'm worried about whether it'll look rubbish when it's scratched and how much it'll cost. There are loads of powdercoaters in Birmingham but they do car parts, not pushchairs!
