Ooh - thank you. Micralite rubbish in the snow only my trusty urban detour manaaged - in fact one of the things that annoys me so with micralites is that the front wheels are actually really pants and keep abruptly stopping so it tips - unless you tip it onto the back wheels

aswellasyou · 18/05/2011 22:27

Frigg mine have pictures inside the hood too! Why don't we normally get pictures?! And my raincovers have fun patterns like shower curtains that can match the pushchair fabrics.

suzie38 · 18/05/2011 22:28

I've not gone designing that far.

FriggFRIGG · 18/05/2011 22:30

someones going to nick our ideas!! i swear mothercare nicked mine!i wandered in asking for a buggy that spun around so you could see the baby (i didnt know what a rear facer was called) 1 year later...they release the 'spin'

Yeah but it's a real "look at me!" pram and people literally stop you in the street and talk about it. A male shop asst once said "nice wheels!". Looking forward to going back under the radar...

aswellasyou · 18/05/2011 22:31

Oh crap Frigg I didn't think of that!

FriggFRIGG · 18/05/2011 22:31

Sorry if I've stopped you to talk about it while out and about.BlushGrin

suzie38 · 18/05/2011 22:33

I've got an idea for a buggy accessory but i won't tell anyone what it is in case they nicked it...I know a company that can help you realise your product as i used to work in the building when a different company was there.

aswellasyou · 18/05/2011 22:34

Oh I forgot about the wheels. And you can buy seperate sets to interchange for different terrain.

FriggFRIGG · 18/05/2011 22:36

exactly!! we need to get a business plan together Wink

aswellasyou · 18/05/2011 22:38

Oh suzie! Is it an umbrella that clips onto the handle to cover you. I swear I'm going to buy one of these. While I was pregnant last year, I saw some parasols while shopping with my Mum and said I was going to get one so I didn't have to hold an umbrella while pushing the pushchair. She thought I was joking. I wasn't. I'm just that stupid. She still mocks me about that.

Honeydragon · 18/05/2011 22:38

damnit no excuse to buy it Wink

aswellasyou · 18/05/2011 22:39

We do. I'm amazed this business doesn't exist. Surely there are other obsessors out there who want to do these amazing pushchairs.

suzie38 · 18/05/2011 22:41

No it's not an umbrella, it's for the toddler.

FriggFRIGG · 18/05/2011 22:42

right well im off to bed, night night addicts!x

OP posts:
aswellasyou · 18/05/2011 22:43

Is it a stowaway seat that can be folded into the pushchair when not needed?
Do you reckon I think too much about pushchair designs?

aswellasyou · 18/05/2011 22:43

Goodnight Frigg.

suzie38 · 18/05/2011 22:46

Nite Nite BRIGG!!!

suzie38 · 18/05/2011 22:47

LOL...No it's a fairly small item, though attachment might be an issue.

aswellasyou · 18/05/2011 22:53

You're making my mind whirr suzie. I don't need any encouragement.

suzie38 · 18/05/2011 22:59

Wink Brilliant invention for average toddler parents in the cooler months.

mummyistheword · 18/05/2011 23:06

Hellllooooo! At last another pramaholics type buggy chit chat thread, There was one a while back but it went somewhere else I think. I have had at least 30 buggies and some twice over!! Just bought my first second gander off bay for 21 quid, filthy but cleaned up and fixed and it looks like new! Hauck infinity with buggy seat and carrycot, rear and forward facer, am selling it. Hope for profit! Currently using (third try) Phil nteds sport older model but bought new recently from mother care with their varoius speech offers and disc code, bargain , loving it, 3rd time lucky maybe?! Dd1 is 3.5 but longish walk back from preschool so handy for rare sit down, rest of time I have ace storage space! Dd2 10 months, loves main seat.......am just debating which new buggysnuggle to buy to match the red, is that charcoal dogs one weird? May just get charcoal pom poms, hmmmmm. Got lovely skip hop duo black with red base that looks like made to match buggy, am not usually matchy but like the fact it all tones in this time.....recent buggy disasters?......
Micralite toro.....looks good but seat tiny....knew it but fell for looks, super quality fabrics and chassis though, zilch storage, I cannot and will not travel light
Quinny buzz in winter....didn't push on any snow well at all also seat made dd shoulders all hunched and rounded in, heavy, rubbish storage and poor quality chassis.
Mama papas off roader 3 wheeler, heavy, v poor to steer, no bumper bar, free float harness needed bumper bar for extra support.
Bjcm before new upright seat 2011 model, dd2 slumped and looked so uncomfy.

May have when dd2 older.....Chicco multiway....huge seat, lovely comfy handles, ace steering, durable, get footmuff and cup holder Inc, stable, sturdy, comfy ride, trust me go push one about before you buy a Mac xt!
May still buy a Mac xt!

If ever had a dc3?!? big if, am feeling no way at moment, but if I did then would have to get a mountain buggy
