Storage heaters

SquashPenguin · 08/07/2024 14:00

A bath. I hate them. Ripped it out during our bathroom refurb last year and never looked back.

GeneralMusings · 08/07/2024 14:01

I don't think I know anyone with an actual working fireplace! Not sure it's a common thing!

Us-more than 1 loo. Seems everyone in our area does 😂

useitorlose · 08/07/2024 14:01

Heating

To be fair, it barely drops below 20C here all year round and we have AC instead!

GeneralMusings · 08/07/2024 14:02

Similarly storage heaters are quite rare aren't they? I've only stayed in one house with them.

I feel I'm missing something!

Teamarugula · 08/07/2024 14:02

Under stairs cupboard
Any kind of fireplace, even fake - Victorian house but they were ripped out by a previous owner, even the chimney breasts
Upstairs bathroom

FoleyHuck · 08/07/2024 14:03

Interior walls, ceilings and electricity.

8 months after suffering severe storm damage, we're still in rented accommodation while the refit / rebuild project rolls glacially on 😕

Ihateslugs · 08/07/2024 14:17

Chimney or fireplace - the developer put in a hideous electric fire on one wall which I asked him to remove. Also don’t have a bath, just a double shower.

Pascha · 08/07/2024 14:20

An en suite. We have 2 family bathrooms though. And a working fireplace.

GoingOutShoes · 08/07/2024 14:21

My house has a working fireplace. Not used it for a couple of years but it would be fine if I got the chimney swept.

We don't have a bath. We converted the bathroom to a disability friendly wet room and I love it.

MidnightPatrol · 08/07/2024 14:21

Parking

BuggeryBumFlaps · 08/07/2024 14:23

A front door

TheChosenTwo · 08/07/2024 14:26

We have and love and use our open fire so much! Everyone in dhs family has one too, they are the loveliest thing to sit in front of on a cold wet winters day! And even a cold wet summers day 😭 (we haven’t actually had one in the summer but I’m not ruling it out!)

SatinHeart · 08/07/2024 14:28

Mains gas

😅😅😅😅
It's a hard life!!

sugarbyebye · 08/07/2024 14:34

A dining table. Terraced house and no room for one.

notmoredirtywashing · 08/07/2024 14:36

Dishwasher. Nowhere to put it but I seem to be the only in my circle without.

BrendaSmall · 08/07/2024 14:37

Fireplace
en-suite
conservatory

MagpiePi · 08/07/2024 14:38

More than one TV
Alexa
A ring doorbell

Houseplanter · 08/07/2024 14:44

A kitchen bin

I just cannot keep one clean for long so I just take the rubbish straight outside to the wheelie bin.

rewilded · 08/07/2024 14:51

A kitchen diner
Dishwasher
A paved over front garden
Bifold doors

Oh I remember that 🙁 Are all the other flats affected still unfinished, too?

Mains gas

Same. We did but got it deliberately cut off.
