Mains drains, mains gas, teabags, a decent mobile phone signal, Channel 69 on Freeview (we used to have it, but it disappeared in our area 😥)

Air fryer 🤣

Mains gas, upstairs bathroom, dog (apparently very unusual round here)

Gas, mains sewage.. A shop of any description within 5 miles

No air fryer

No ninja smoothie maker

No ringgo-type doorbell

In fact, NO doorbell!

We live in a back to back so only have a front to our house. There are no back rooms or windows.

No ensuite (but this is fine as a) there's only one bathroom and b) I don't like them)

Couldn't live without my bath though! I love it. I'd be really put off a house without a bath and would have to put one back in.

A garage. It's the one thing that means we'll never have this as a forever home, as we need the storage space.

Extractor fan/cooker hood (but one's going in soon when I get around to saving for new kitchen appliances)

Fireplace- find it really odd as I have no where to hang the Christmas stockings!

Only 1 bathroom so no downstairs toilet or en-suite

The house we moved into 4 months ago had no ceiling lights in the living room (which we discovered as it was getting dark: cue mad scramble amongst packing boxes for lamps we could plug in).
We had to arrange for an electrician to put an overhead light in.

More than one window in the whole place (2 bedroom flat)

I also miss drinking water from the tap.
There's one special spigot thing in the kitchen that the surveyor said was 'safe' as it is mains water.
Feels like I spend my life walking around the house with jugs of water for the bedroom, the en-suite and the main bathroom.
Hopefully this will get this remedied when we get things re-plumbed.

An upstairs (it's a bungalow) and a cupboard! Yep no cupboards.

We had this with our master bedroom! There was a ceiling fan so we assumed there was a light built in… nope.

Also, no doorbell or cameras.

An island (of the kitchen variety - not floating off the garden in the Thames!). Marble work surfaces. Beautifully painted walls (thanks house-animals).

Ooh, same. Though ours is a converted farm building, so we have a few outbuildings, but no actual garage.

More than one toilet/bathroom.
A bath - but I want one so badly!
More than one TV. Our only one is in the lounge.
An AirFryer.

A cheese room and a moat.

I always said my forever home would need these two features. It does not.

Fire place/chimney breast, no character , live in new build.
