Things that annoy you about Estate Agents listings? (lighthearted)

OK, I'll go first!
Panoramic/wide angle shots of the driveway to make it look double the length/width it actually is (same goes for internal shots)
No floorplan
Pointless photographs of taps running or a bunch of flowers, I'd much rather have more photos of the property
Virtual tours when they just use just stills of the photos you've already seen...why? It's not a virtual tour at all!
Anyone else got anything? I'm sure there's loads more but those are the ones that I see frequently.

I've seen some where they have said 'house has been intelligently extended' like as if someone could have stupidly extended but they instead intelligently extended, 🤣

Measurements in metres rather than feet. Who the hell thinks of room space in metres?

Wanky artsy photos in the listing. Nobody wants to see close ups of bowls of lemons or floral arrangements.

Wide-angle photos that distort size/shape of the room.

Listing a cell measuring 6x6 as a bedroom.

Especially when the wanky arty photos are close ups of things the owners will take with them. Close up of carving detail on the bannisters yes please. Diagonal close up of some dried flowers in a vase jug no thanks.

Metres for me too. Work in architecture and everything we do is in metres 😁

I'm such a RM nerd I know metres and feet but only in respect of room sizes 😂 In the real world I have to equate things to a decent sized double or a kitchen big enough for an island!

Aren’t you lot sold on the aspirational lifestyle? You could be the sort of people who “curate” odd-shaped vases with handles, bake lemon drizzle cake with the kids, buy your clothes in Chanel and have a BMW in the drive (especially if your agent is one of the directors and does a viewing or two).

I’ve seen plenty of houses that have been stupidly extended! In ways which make a bizarre layout, make the garden tiny, create internal rooms with no natural light etc

Including the garage in the square footage. So many times this year I have said ‘that doesn’t look like 1500sq ft’, figured out the circumference of the house and sussed they have added the garage, and sometimes run down outbuildings too.

Such a waste of my time.

Oh yes! I was definitely sold on the aspirational idea of easing into 1960s chic, coupled with artfully placed handrails and 'original features' such as the concrete patio 🤣
