Just bought a 3 bed semi with garage in a decent area for £152K. It’s needs some work (new kitchen and bathroom). I’m in the North East of Scotland

BottlingBurpsForGrandma · 22/01/2022 20:11

Within 1 mile of my house, anywhere from £140k to £240k - 1930s with 7x7 box room

Reallycantbesarsed · 22/01/2022 20:13

Have just checked rightmove. £650k to £1.8 million!! Ridiculous but I do live in a stupidly expensive part of England…our kids don’t stand a chance of buying around here !

HMG107 · 22/01/2022 20:15

350k in an area with good schools - East Midlands

WarmSeaSwimmer · 22/01/2022 20:25

£500 to £650k. We're in one of the cheaper London boroughs.

mogschristmascalamity · 22/01/2022 20:27

£500k

Box room would be less c. £430k

housemaus · 22/01/2022 20:34

Cheapest - £280k, but the smallest bedroom would be able to take a single bed and not much else. Cheapest one with a non-box third bedroom is £295k but it's in a shocking state (walls half-plastered, no flooring in some rooms) and not in a great part of the postcode.

Most expensive - £495k.

This is why we're moving!

Mumrey · 22/01/2022 21:21

Where I am in North London the majority are 2 plus box room, £700 to £800 for 'middle of road' house.

caringcarer · 22/01/2022 21:39

Almost all 3 bedroom houses near toe have 2 X double and 2 single bedroom. You might have to buy 4 bedrooms to get 3 X double. £385-400k.

RampantIvy · 22/01/2022 21:48

Within a mile £115k - £245k.

RampantIvy · 22/01/2022 21:48

South Yorkshire BTW.

bluesky45 · 22/01/2022 21:49

Most of the 3bed houses here have a box/small single room as the 3rd bedroom. Around £250-300k in the NW.

user20222 · 22/01/2022 22:08

£180K - £300K

(based on rightmove search within 1 mile radius)

Janedownourlane · 22/01/2022 22:14

Within 3 miles £70 to £750 North East

arghdilema · 22/01/2022 22:22

£500k but that's with a box room. To have 3 doubles you'd be looking for a traditional semi with a loft conversion really.
I'm not in London.

NisekoWhistler · 22/01/2022 22:24

800k -1.2mn

Fireworksatforty · 22/01/2022 22:27

200-250k I'm NW.

autienotnaughty · 22/01/2022 22:27

120k - 200k

LastChristmasIGaveYouMyHeart · 22/01/2022 22:39

£420k to £585k looking at rightmove. Though, quite a few of these have a small 3rd bedroom even the £585k one, but it is in a very desirable area. Not sure whether it is a box room... what are the dimensions for a box room?

PurpleFadesToGreen · 22/01/2022 22:40

350k to 750k
Herts

LastChristmasIGaveYouMyHeart · 22/01/2022 22:41

Surrey/London border, within the M25. 1 stop out of the oyster zone for trains. Though we do have TFL buses.

cloudwine · 22/01/2022 22:43

£480k - £550k. I'm in NW

earsup · 23/01/2022 00:27

Trendyfying east london area here....wrecks are 650 to 700k...done up are appx 800 to 900k !

Deadwould · 23/01/2022 00:34

150k but they are all probably 2 bedrooms and a boxroom.

WhiteJellycat · 23/01/2022 00:34

There is only two on the market. 450,000 and 550,000 so I'd guess 500,000? I'm surprised actually. I think they have gone down a bit. Mind you with so little choice maybe it's a sellers market? Neither look that appealing either
